you know, I dont know if this is true but apparantly England could have won the independance war but they didn't want to spend the money on defending. It as they had other colonies to look after, I dont know but thats what my history teachers tell me.
@Markius6112 could of after all parts of washington was burnt down in 1812 but much harder for the british to win because of supply lines being so long french dutch spanish all against the brits and of corse the british would stand in a field while the rebels were hiding behind cover with darker colors rather than red!
