Lee's sandwiches are so dry. The chicken has an funky aftertaste and dry and tough. I'm sure there are better places but these guys are the largest and the only one I've tried.
With Lee sandwich, you need sauce/mayonaise to soften the bread. Reason is the pickled veggies (carrot and radish) really is not pickled but dehydrate..therefore nothing to soften their hard bread.
Did you know hardened Lee's baguette can be use to kill people? Don't believe? Google it.
@maxisveritas Lee's Sandwiches sucks! Their bread is as hard as a brick or sometime as tough as rubber band. The mom and pop sandwich shops are way better. I like Banh Mi Cali the most.

This banh mi is from Lee's in Rosemead and I think that it cost about $3.
