  • You don't sound like you were alive decades ago, dude. Funny though. Are you actually angry? I don't even know.

  • No, I'm 17

  • I 100% agree. Before they ruined the show after 1998, they really kept the none MTV gen infromed about the music of the time. I also liked the graphics as well. Keep the rants comming man.

  • Why did you swear a lot in this video? HOW RUDE!

  • Sorry mate but this rant is one of the best things I've ever heard.

  • Don't hold back mate!!! lol

  • I kept it cool though XD checkout part 2 and three.

  • Don't worry, the old chart shows are coming back on the vault channel, according to tvguide. It will start on Friday 28th November.

  • OK. For everyone who's interested there is a Digital Spy forum (type: "Classic Chart Show" into Google) which has some of the YouTube posters on it which discusses The Vault/The Chart Show repeats. Here are the latest dates and times for the re-runs: Fri 28.11@08h00 GMT, Sat 29.11@15h00 GMT, Sun 30.11@11h GMT, Mon 01.12 to Fri 05.12@08h GMT and Mon 01.12@21h. Btw I only found out about the first run of repeats in 2007 by accident whilst flicking through satellite telly one afternoon.

  • But they never show twix!!!!!

  • The first sponsor was Pepe Jeans in 1992, followed by Twix in 1993, then the wretched Tizer in 1997.

The show was called 'ITV Chart Show' from September 1990 to August 1994 due to the UK commercial channel's re-branding exercise.

  • @staffs73 In fact 'The Chart Show' was used from the beginning of 11th April 1986 until 26th August 1989. Then it became the 'ITV Chart Show' from 2nd September 1989 until 15th October 1994. Finally it became again 'The Chart Show' from 22nd October 1994 until the last episode on 22nd August 1998.

  • I reckon the Twix sponsors started in May '93.
