I want to find out if anyone read about of DietOramy program plan (google for more info)? I've read about about it from a friend who burned a good deal of extra fat, although he's a bit like a freak, so is there anybody conventional around =) to confirm the particular performance of this program plan?
It just occured to me. When she makes the almond milk, you know how there was that almond and date pulp left inside? You could use that as granola! You could grind the seeds and walnuts just before the desired consistency, then add in the almond and date pulp along with the cinnamon, do a little more grinding together and voila! Minimal waste!!!!
Thank you so much for your great recipies! I made your zuchini pasta today and stunned a dear friend! I only have just started eating Raw vegan..and am delighted that everything tastes so good.. i just soaked the nuts for tomorrow! Thank you again i will surely purchess your book!
Hi! I'm 14 years old and my names Olivia. I chose to change vegetarian two years ago and I'm fully vegetarian now, mostly raw and I'm trying to get my family into the vegetarian/raw lifestyle by cooking meals which they say taste great but they can't give up meat. What do I do?
@ChangeTheChannelSong Olivia, even when we get to be 20, 30, or 40 years old we may not convince our families to switch to a better diet. The very best thing for you to do is to focus on your own health, continue learning about healthy vegetarian eating, and be your very best - that is called "leading by example." Get A's in school, be kind to people in school, plan for college, do what you love to do. And eat vegetarian. People will respect you, and want to be like you. ~ Larry
@ChangeTheChannelSong You're welcome! I've been vegetarian for 21 years and my best friends eat meat. So, as much as we may want to change others, the only real power we have is in changing ourselves. You will be a shining example of vibrant health that will inspire others, though maybe not your best friends or family.
Im transitioning to a vegetarian lifestyle too, Ihave taken all my red meat (pork and steaks) off my diet already and i have introduced veggie burgers and veggie chicken. I am eating tuna and fish though but will be off this year as I discover recipes that will take their place. I have replaced cow milk with soy milk and rice milk and now i have your nut milk recipe too, isn't that awesome?
It looks delicious, but I have to agree that is a lot of nuts in one meal. I would probably use soaked buckwheat or wheat berries in place of 2/3 of the nuts.
i love your channel, i'm slowly transitioning to a vegetarian lifestyle then later hopefully total vegan. at this point i'm down to eating tuna, since i've gradually cut out all my meat intake. i needed an alternative to cows milk and didn't like having to buy soy or almond at the store. so this recipe is great! i love it and can't wait to try it on my own. thanks a bunch! =D
hello, when you saok the nuts is necesary to use the masons jar or could be another container?? also when soaking them is necesary to close the lid?? thank you for your response
Oh yum! Really nicely done video and I love how some people have contributed their own recipes for almond pulp or milk - thank you! I've written them down. Need to order some organic almonds now.
I must say I think it's so funny though, in all these raw food videos there always seems to be a stove in the background! Like a really nice, really expensive stove.
Thank you Jennifer! Think I'll go add your book and DVD to my Amazon wishlist now.
I had a lot of almond pulp stored in the fridge from making 1 litre of almond milk each day for a week.
I put all the pulp in a food processor, added some chopped dates, 2 bananas, raw argave syrup. shredded raw coconut - blended all that together and then flattened out onto 3 dehydrator sheets.
Dehydrated in excallibur at 110 degrees for 4 hours, flipped them over and dehydrated again for 6 hours.
By the way, my favourite way of using almond milk is to place a cup of almond milk into a blender, add 1 frozen banana plus 1 tablespoon of raw cacao and some fresh mint leaves or vanilla beans.
Soooooooooo delicous!!
Tastes like an icecream milk shake and is a lovely treat in the afternoon before a workout or when you want more zing!
that's a great presentation! great video! i'm eating some raw buckwheat granola right now (it is just dehydrated buckwheat with agave and some other things) but i'll have to try this recipe as well!!!
Thanks so much for posting this, so easy to understand. There is a problem getting truly raw, unpasteurized and untreated almonds now. Irradiation is being used, and stores are selling untoasted almonds as raw, but it's said that this process destroys the enzymatic action of the nuts. Could you tell me if we're stil getting some good nutrition when we use them? I love almond milk!
You can order your almonds from the UK, we still have them raw here. The exchange rate on in the US is really strong against the UK pound, so you could buy loads and store in the fridge.
Does anyone know the food prcoessor and blender that she uses?

Room temperature in what room? I live in the city and room temperature is often in the high eighties...is that too high?
Also, what can you do with the pulp? Seems a shame to just throw it out as it might be good for something else.

is there anything you can make with the leftover almonds from the almond milk recipe?
machellacoachella 1 year ago
@machellacoachella , you can make an amazing almond pulp cheese, it is fantastic! 2 cups pulp from almond milk (pulp should be plain, not sweetened)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of Celtic Sea Salt
1/4 cup fresh or dried dill weed
1/2 cup diced onions
1/2 red bell pepper
small clove garlic
You can either dice all this finely and mix with pulp, or blend the vegetables and oil/lemon and mix it through, then add the dill.it is gorgeous!

as a raw vegan i would find eating all those nuts hard on my tummy. try subbing some of the nuts with sprouted grains.
