This isn't even bowling anymore. You haven't lived until you've grinded out a 620 with a white dot on lacquered wood lanes that were oiled with a spray can.
@shueevon welcome to the 21st century, i've bowled in clubs and houses that still live in the 1900's and i won't lie i find it very amusing to bowl on conditions like that, but for your comment nobody freaking cares. the "bowling" you think is bowling died in the 90's with the invention of reactive resin and the modern lane machine. the house league bowling i will agree isn't bowling, but what the guys do every week out on the tour is still bowling.
@shueevon looks like this guy right here is mad cause he sucks. this is not real bowling you say? let me see ball..check. pins...check...lane...check ball hits pins...check hmm... i cant see why you think this is not bowling...so you must just suck at it then
@jakeg111222333 Yup, you're right - I suck. But this still isn't bowling... it's McBowling. Just like McDonalds... no matter where you go in the world a Big Mac is just the same as any other Big Mac. Today all lanes are synthetic, all oiling patterns are done the same... all you have to worry about today is stroke and hit a 5 board area. You'll never know what it's like to have to work for a score. "Par" used to be 200, now it's 225 (or more).
@shueevon but its not that easy on oil synthetic lanes. even more so with pba patterns they break down fast and change rapidly.while with what you call "real bowling" you can figure out a consistant spot to throw. oh one more thing. if you think this is fake and is stupid. why the fuck are you watching this then?
Nice to see Carolyn Dorin-Ballard on these 5 oil patterns, as I am a stroker. But always had a little trouble on Viper- and it looks like the adjustment she made from the Cheeetah was to just move in a little bit.
This shows what it takes to bowl as a pro. You have to be able to flip the switch and go from extreme outside to extreme inside. Sean also adjusted his speed very well. He might've been using different layouts such as a pin up weak layout for cheetah. A typical bench mark layout for viper, scorpion, and chameleon. Than a pin down layout for shark. I don't know but if he used the same ball and just adjusted speed and hand position simply amazing
@bladeknockingon700 okk hes obviously is using the same ball and yea he mightve switched up speed but hand position doesnt have a lot to do with throwing a good shot he had the same hand position the entire time throughout the vid
Don't make the sport out to be what its not. Walter Ray bowled the same way with minor adjustments for how long? You don't have to be all fancy and bowling with a huge hook, inside this outside that. Its a bowling ball and your throwing it at pins. Don't get all silly with rev rates and ball speed. Sometimes you just need to remember it is a simple sport. (well maybe for me bowling 19 years)
@TylerBowlJohnson It really is a simple sport. Walter Ray has lasted for so many years while adjusting with lane conditions and ball technology. It's nice to see a ball with so much power punish the pins but kids my age and younger need to learn that just letting the ball do the work while hitting your mark is more than enough to score well
@666thepig You are right. there should be some medium ground in these videos. Obviously they should show a high rev, medium rev, and low rev bowler for each ball.
the Cheetah shot was AMAZING!!! he got board ONE and acts like its nothing!!! my bowling coach said "it wont break at one board!" im like your stupid lol i gots to show him his
@Deathwish1500 There is never any oil outside of the 2 board. The machines just can't put any conditioner there so it's bone dry. I have shot 300 with a plastic ball going from the 4 out to the 2. Tell you coach he is WRONG. And the shot was amazing...
@deanchamp yea the shark was atleast half a mile/hr slower than cheetah and the chameleon/scorpion were a bit slower also, but the amount of the lane being covered (since hes not playing a straight line) adds time to it slightly
he makes it look so god damn easy.

His release is ridiculous. The shot on shark is so impressive.
Skook1263 1 year ago
What is most amazing is the shot on shark, all the power of the other ones yet he dropped the speed like it was nothing.
