Why do people that sound great on albums always have to lose their cool on stage and go crazy with the singing? After 6 months of pretender ring tones, I glimpsed upon a live foo fighters concert and it was the worst performance I'd ever seen, professional or amature. If steven here had eased into it like on the second half, this would have been a much more credible performance.

@ delawareboy. please dont reference foo fighters haha, nowhere near the level of a band that 3eb is. but anyway, thats just the way STEPHAN (not steven) is man, he's a drama queen. and trust me, most of the live performances aren't like this. he's mostly just going nuts because he's in a well known venue and having somebody relatively important record him, which im guessing are given the video and audio quality. whenever he gets a lot of attention he tends to overdue it trying to make a good

impression, but unfortunately usually just making himself look bad. if you look up his old tv appearances, like when they were on leno, he does the same thing. its just the way he is. anyway im not crazy about the way he over-does it and how the band tends to over-do stuff either (ie tony's coat), but i just look past it because i love the band too much. i just prefer to listen to them blindly. i can tell you dont feel the same about them though, considering you didnt even spell sj's name right

I do love their music, but I don't choose to bias myself because of it. I felt it was a shame, I wasn't really insulting them. And I also feel that memorizing the bands every personal detail is bordering unhealthy, no offense, I'm just not like that. Btw I don't particularly like the foo fighters (evident in my comment) , but it happened to be where I drew my comparison from.

OK I have. I thought that was Kevin. But it's Tony Fredianelli. and we do agree, 3EB's first two albums with Kevin are incredible. I do like Ursa Major though and their newer song "Red Star" is one of their best in a long time. I listen to kick ass Heavy Metal and I even like this band. they are awesome.

I think the draw with Cadogan is that he was a very good songwriter. However, the guitarist in this video quite obviously has a great deal of skill and plays with an amazing sense of timing and feel. It's too bad that modern radio only wants to play metal and emo-type crap. There are some amazing musicians out there but you just don't hear them often enough.

the reason this band fell off the radio waves is that their third cd "out of the vein," was a dud. it had some good songs, but lacked the beauty of the first two albums. And the first two albums got considerable airtime...so I have no idea what point you're trying to make

I don't get what the big deal with Kevin Cadogan is, Tony Fredianelli is a better guitarist, from what I've heard Kevin's really sloppy live, and Tony's really good if you listen to his work in Apocrypha.
