even though i am still too young to vote or to really understand politcs i totally disagree with helmersdaughter. what he says is total bullshit and what YOUR sayin about obama is even more bullshit.
John McCain should have been president. He doesn't want to take away the rights of American citizens because he fought to ensure our freedom. Obama has no experience at anything except reading a teleprompter. Well America, you ask for it, you got it. Government cannot even take care of the economy and you want them in charge of your health?
lets just go with 676, kill all the oil lobbyists & end the war on tactic, let al gore go green with empty factories in detroit and create some bullet trains 50 years after japan, 1207, practice some non-interventionism... especially with iran and call it a day... why is health care reform being compared to canada and not france in the media?
because comparing american healthcare is already too humiliating to compare with Canada.. they dont wanna humiliate themselfes more by comparing with france..
Surprise McCain is against it.. just like everything else.. Thank God we dodged this bullet. If he wants to know the particulars on the health care proposal why doesn't he just look at his own insurance policy... it's the same thing every congressman and senator currently has.
WAKEY WAKEY.......... the country IS sleeping NOW!!!!!! Get with it, open your eyes, rub the sand out............. The Kool-Aid should be wearing off about now!!!!!
Unlike Senator McCain, President Obama did not come from a privileged family, nor did he marry an extremely wealthy woman. The President and the First Lady earned their money the old fashioned way: they worked for it. Also, the President doesn't want to deny health care to poor and middle class Americans.
Unless you count Obama's his lucrative book deal. ;) And John McCain has been to hell and back. Who the hell cares if he fell in love with a wealthy woman.
True Obama has worked vigorous and hard to get where he is, I'm not denying that. You know Sarah Palin wasn't priviledged either. Out of Obama, Biden, McCain, and Palin; Sarah is the poorest in terms of income. Not that this is relevant, but liberals demonized that woman.

You're one of those people that will listen to anything Fox News, MSNBC, CNN etc reports and you immediately believe it without doing your own reading and research.
And judging from your spelling and education, thank god you're not a governor.
K first of all Fox News = Bias, MSNBC = too libral, CNN = OK... and no i dont immediately believe it without doing some research.. go google his biography and history u will find out urself whats the truth.. and one last thing..
THIS IS YOUTUBE.. I DONT GIVE A F ABOUT MY SPELLING.. and if i was a governor it would be an insult to be ur representative. .
It is!!! Are you crazy??? Cindy's Father worked hard and deserves his gains!!!! If it weren't for the rich, you'd have less money for social programs. (taxes).
As for the deplorable state of vet care, I find it unimaginable that those who are so quick to send people into battle can so easily ignore their suffering when they return. President Bush had 8 years to do something about it considering it was put in the public's eye during his tenure and he did nothing...absolutely SHAMEFUL!
The "prevention" as McCain calls it is people putting off going to the primary Doctor as much as they can. Why? Because we don't want to know if we are sick. If we find out we are sick, the insurance company also finds out we are sick, which means we will get dropped from coverage at some point. THIS is one of the many reasons why "preventive health care" CAN NOT be in the same sentence with "health insurance company".
YES, the President expects you to work your ass off to get health care reform. But REAL reform, with a Public Plan. Yes, YOU have to communicate with your constituents (in an unbiased way) and ask the about the public plan. 72% of the US believes in a public plan.
The health insurance companies are self-serving and bureaucratic; the only way they know to cut costs is by denying people service. McCain has his VA healthcare, why deny the US at least a basic level of health care?
You know that we could just take money otu of military spending, where we spend 300 billion dollars more than the entire EU. If we took several billion dollars out of our military next year (when we are out of Iraq) we can spend money on the health care.
Oh, so the Republicans want privatized health care that is not working. He wants 47 million Americans to be uninsured. Reply if you want, and don't give me that socialism crap!!!
whatta tool, Remember Mccain saying " I will veto every pork barrel spending bill , and I will make the culprits famous," then he went on to vote for the biggest pork barrel spending bill in U.S. history on September of last year.
My Fellow Panamanian Mr McCain: you will get the text of this plan only after you get forced to sign the bill upon preassure of the country going bankrupt if you dont sign the bill inmediately as blank check to bail out the insurance companies of USA & UK. It happend once with the banking bailout, it will happen again with this insurance bailout.
Tell us how the free market helped Kent Snyder. Ron Paul wouldnt even help him, and he worked for him too. No healthcare, $400,000.00 in medical bills and in the end dead. Just Google Kent Snyder and read.
John McBush had he won the General Election this country would've dip into hell, he cares for no one, the republicans had eight yrs and see where we are now. Thank God he lost...Go Obama Go..
Oh shut the hell up. Obama has done nothing but blow money since he took office. The "Economy" was ruined because of these Major Corporations Chairman's, CEO's,etc wanted $100 Million bonuses and pay offs instead of putting money into their companies.
Grandpa McCain. how can I trust this man to know jack about health care if he cant even sign on to the internet without help?
its not like he has even NOT had health care. if he wasnt too young for his own plan, then he was in the military, then he was a veteran and had guaranteed coverage. He doesnt know what its like to be one broken wrist away from bankruptcy.
Oh come on........ he must know something about health care...... He did live to be old!!!!! At least he didn't visit 57 states in the US like Obama claims to have done.
There was a time when I actually respected Sen. McCain, even though I'm a Dem. I still respect his service in Nam. I no longer think of him as a guy who will do what's right even if it goes against his party. He has never been without health insurance, of that I'm sure. He is a wealthy man with how many houses? He hasn't a clue what the average "Joe" (not "Joe the Clueless Non-Plumber") has to deal with when it comes to obtaining health care insurance. I'm looking forward to his retirement!
Well being a vet, I'm sure he has never gone without insurance. Although, I'm sure that he has had private care instead, as it is better. You have to respect any Vets service for sure!! However I think the entire "how many homes do you own" question was blown out of proportion. His wife is Ultra Super Rich, so he can never be sure what she has bought or sold, as that isn't his concern.
The "home" thing was in response to the number of states thing you mention, both were over blown, but it didn't prevent you from mentioning it first. He CAN afford private health care that is the point...many can't.
Really, not knowing what homes you wife is buying or selling. If you have access to that much money, how can you possibly relate to the person struggling to pay medical bills and not go bankrupt?
Obama/McCain can't relate to struggling to pay medical bills or going bankrupt. To think that one of them can over the other is foolish. They are the same: POLITICIAN. However you overlooked the fact that the government runs vet care, and that is a sad example of what will be with this health care plan to come. Be sure and tune into the glorified infomercial tonight to learn more about it. Of course, there will be no opposing view, so the politicians can pull the wool over your eyes.
The difference between them, is that one comes from a patrician family & the other watched as his mother battled insurance companies while dying of cancer. I have to go now...... I have to write the insurance check that covers our employees. Which they currently do not claim as their income, that which they only pay a tiny portion of. I think people should take care of themselves and those around them and not rely on the Government to solve their problems. They will come to see what a mistake that was IF this happens.
ladylordless: You must be wealthy if you have your own company. America has been good to you. It's sad that you begrudge your employees' medical insurance.
Can you read English? I PAY for 98% of my employees insurance. They do not claim that as their income, so they are not taxed on it. I CHOOSE to do this. However, other businesses could fold if they were FORCED to do this, then the employees would lose their jobs!!!! I started with nothing and made something out of it. More than Americas "been good to me" I earned it!! I also choose who benefits from it, not the Government!!!
