normaly a similar engine starts with compressed air blowing in a cylinder.and has the engine to be turned over by hand to get the right cylinder to be at the top before starting

Oh, sorry, my bad, this isn't a 1200hp 6TD engine, it is a 600hp 6GV engine which runs at 375 rpm and has the same bore and stroke. Still, quite impressive power output for its size and running speed.
This is a turbocharged V6 solid-injection diesel made by Brons in Appingedam, Netherlands in the 1970s. It has a bore of 220mm and a stroke of 380mm and makes 1200hp- quite impressive.
Ha prachtig zo'n Brons motor, jammer dat ik er niet bij was toen hij werd gestart. Ik zal proberen om een filmpje te maken als alle motoren van Electra draaien.

Geweldig zeg, ik heb de motor vaak gezien als ik over het GB terrein liep.
Waar is ie nu te bezichtigen en wat is er van zijn buurman geworden. (tomassen o.i.d.?)
