I plan on doing this for my 2011 V6 Camaro, except I'm gunna use a "Y" Tube and have two filters in mine. Would I have to have a sensory unit? I didn't see one on yours.
I install the K&N Intake on my camaro and just got a check engine light after a week and my automatic Engine start wont work any more. Not sure what when wrong had been working for 1 week with no problems also the auto start was working.
@sseleanor1 I drilled and tapped the tube with 8-32 screws. I measured the distance the og was from the intake and matched up the position as close as possible.
Can you post a video of a V6, or any links for that matter will also help man thx. I think i speak for me & usairman8806 when i say : I just want to be sure. lol

CamaroSS0914 1 month ago
@CamaroSS0914 I masked it good and sprayed it with color matched paint from auto touch paint online. Then cleared it.

@lender97 Make sure the filter is on tight and the MAF did not come loose. Then do a fuse pull reset.

Did you ever end up throwing any codes on this? I'm looking to build one for my car.
photonfury 10 months ago
@photonfury Not a single code and no tune. I had a guy try this with a V6 and he had a code but was related to putting the maf in the wrong location.
