@HanaOfBrockdonia : Wash couldn't have died. The Reaver's harpoon didn't have as much force behind it as some space debris does, and Serenity *has* to be able to take the space debris. So the Reaver harpoon couldn't have gotten through the windshield. :-) spread the truth!

@AThousandYears42 Except several minutes prior to the harpoon piercing the windshield, Wash flew Serenity through a cloud of debris, and even hit one (I know, it seems impossible, but it did). And, the Reavers' harpoons are specially designed for piercing the hulls of spaceships, so after being weakened by the debris, the windshield was breakable.

Okay, it's been the one that made Fox continue the series for three more seasons, but, I can't tell why, I felt like it wasn't the good moment for this special arc, and I did not enjoy it as much as if it had been half a season later.

Does anyone know the exact moment in the soundtrack that Wash first says, "I'm a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar?" I can pick out the "What does that even mean" part as well as when Wash dies before he can complete the line, but I can't seem to find the moment in the soundtrack when he first brings it up.

I'm making a music video, and want to follow up the music to that scene without the battle's sound effects. Anyone know?
