Eye To Eye: Inaugural Poet

a great american poem. unfortunate that cbs chose to visually link her poem to the oratory of dr. king during the historic march. she's not king, angelou or frost. she doesn't have to be. barack is not a new dr. king. he is the u.s. president like kennedy or lbj. blacks are far from being the only beneficiaries of civil rights or even the ones who have benefited the most from the civil rights movement. wake up and smell your hatred and see how much it costs your children. all children.

mm, and then you explained that everyone who had handed in their assignemnts had missed the point becuase it was indeed, a civil rights issue. That's when I quit my Med, not physically but in my heart. the reality of the situation led me to challenge you right there and then. I was told to shut up so i quit.. luv u
