on the g inversion your index should be on 2nd fret g string

I am a Rush fan for over 30 years (and a serious guitarist for only three!); I say you nailed the chords/ fills and explain how to do it well. Thanks for posting.

I play the A ->G progression with the D, G and B strings; that way you don't have to choke off the open A on the A chord when switching to the G, and the G chord will have the third (open B). As both chords are in second inversion, playing the three strings give me a full sound.
