@TheMagicLeon - Keep in mind that this guy is basically DEMOING the product for magicians. He isn't showing it to laymen or customers. He is showing the product to magicians, who in turn will handle it better with their performance personality. When you consider that he is showing magicians what these effects are, it becomes all clear why he does it this way.
