Are you using Unity for the core engine for the game? I'd be a little curious to see how well Unity holds up to anything beyond a 4 player LAN, let alone a full MMO, at least in my experience. I've seen Unity hold up well in conjunction with 3rd party server applications, but when I tried to get Unity to run a server with any incoming connections beyond 8, it just crashes.

neat. they added a special button just for one-second wing-boners XD on a more serious not, i recommend you try and find some advantages to earth ponies. Pegasus-ponies can fly, and unicorns can make magic, but what reasons are there for players to be earth ponies? boosted running speed? advantages to some mini-games? it really is something for you guys to consider. other than that, AMAZING game as far as I've seen, and i can tell you can do so much more to it! definitely a game that i'd play!

@Iamoldenough92 hmm... extreme ground speed? the ability to move heavy objects? the ability to take more damage from enemies? i'm sure we all agree earth ponies are generally physically stronger than the other ponies (Applejack, Pinkie pie) and have advantages in their own ways. But you do still present a good point; what WILL they do with earth ponies?

i do hope that all those houses will serve a purpose. maybe player housing or something? keeping a town populated makes it much more lively. also, maybe make NPCs wander around only when there is a low population of players, so its never too crowded or empty

@weotu like perhaps having the camera kind of lag behind the movement of pegasi in flight? like if you're flying forward, the camera seems to be a bit behind and when you stop, it catches up. and when you turn, there's like a fraction of a second before the camera starts moving in that direction. do you mean stuff like that?

All I know is other flight simulators I've played seemed different, visually (I know y'all aren't trying to make a pony flight sim....actually that sounds like a cool idea, but I digress!) Anyway, maybe that lag is what I'm thinking of. For someone that doesn't know game design or flight sims that well, it's hard for me to say what needs doing...it just...felt like the world was moving around the pony, and not the pony moving through the world.

actualy I think the walking and running animations look the same. I think what is throwing me off is the way the camera fallows EXACTLY behind you and does not allow you to see yourself leaning into the turns as in the older versions.

Some 2D clouds floating by and maybe some swaying trees/flowers in the town would complete the atmosphere. Also, maybe some cute 'idle' animations and an auto-leveling feature for the pegasi; hovering sideways looks a little awkward.
