  • Nice job on fixing it Matt, doesn't look bad at all. Saw quite a few of these in Downley the other week. We've got Schaefer 240's in green exactly the same in Kettering for trade waste collection.

  • ok i need ur help iv been wondering sompthing about wheelie bins/comb tippers for a long while where does the clamp come down on the lip of the can is it on the lower part or the upper part by the lid cuz as u may know los angeles california usa has 3 brands of wheelie bins plastopan, otto, and shaefer so they have comb tippers and i cand figure out exactly how they work

  • @reuterhunter1 They clamp comes down on the edge of the lip of the bin. If u go to one of my vids called Mondays Machines and go to the last truck in the clip DAF 158, there is a closeup of the lifter gripping a bin. Ill send it to u

  • You've done an excellent job on stitching it up, could put a few layers of duct tape over the stitching (good protection).

  • @tharealsteven cheers. I dont have any dut tape at the moment. i will proably do it over the weekend. Although im thinking about drilling a couple of holes at the top like Sulo green waste bins

  • poor bin

  • @bdmcneilusmsl i know its sad. But i have given it a new lease on life rather than it being scrapped

  • @crushandburn51 That is good.
