it's not a joke.... but anyway this thing is cool except it seems to play the same tune, what happens if someone wanted to rap, or sing something techno...

I disapprove this software, I rather make my own music beats.

There are different approaches towards making a song. Generally rap starts from a beat. Techno doesn't usually focus on a melody.

But in other genres of music, many song writers begin from a melody. So without needing to pay a keyboard player, Microsoft can license this technology. I don't know that they should use Ben Folds 5 songs to demo their system though.

Every song sounds the same...its interesting but the people weren't the best singers either. Good idea but it could be way better.
