I see you have used ID's with the same name of the page. I thought this wasn't possible, ID are for unique divs, and classes can be used for similar divs.

Another qtn pls, can I view the record in my localhost database instead of paypal, I mean can I put the address of my local root folder, so as to have a record in my database, or will pay pal redirect the records 2 my site, just want 2 be notified if a user make an order.

Hey dahatijjani, for this shopping cart i would say that is not possible because this is a basic cart that allows you to keep the customer from having to go to paypal every-time they want to add something to the cart. I would suggest having a look into some other shopping carts. have a looks at mals cart and see if they have that feature. thanks

Hey dahatijjani, thanks for your comment. those hidden fields are for the shopping cart, so the email address that is put in those yellow dots (hidden fields) that is the email address of your PayPal. it should not need to be changed every-time because your PayPal will always stay the same

HEy dahatijjani , thanks for thew comment. A new user should not need to put his email address in. This is all set up to go through paypal so all the user has to do is pay through paypal and that is it. You will get a record from paypal. Let me know how you get on

Hey Rhyde4Lsk, thanks for your comment. What that normally means is that you have the same item number on each one. If you are looking at the cart in dreamweaver design view, you will see lots of yellow dots. Click on those yellow dots until you see the item number one. The number that you put in there has to be different on each cart. So lets say you have 4 carts, then you would need to have 1,2,3,4 or anything that is different. Let me know how you get on

I love the intros! can you show us how to stream an mp3 with a mini player and when someone makes a purchase from the buy now button they will get an automated email of a download link after they pay. Basically an online music store.

I know you can make a download link page with the content send them to that page after they make their purchase... but they could bookmark and share it... is there a way to put a time limit on the download or hide the exact html link its from? Salam

you could do that with paypal. Once the customer has paid for the item then paypal redirects them to a download page. Another product that you can use is digitaldispatch, people use this for ebooks. Let me know how you get on

Hey Jyla187, thanks for your comment. Yeh you can add the button to be your own graphic. The easiest way would be, in design view click on the button and then in the page properties under the SRC link there will be a folder, click on that and that will allow you to find the image that you want. A flash one would look great
