  • its such a set dance slow hornpipe king of the faries

  • wow she was only 19 when this was filmed. amazing for that age

  • My dream to dance with you someday, War Child. (Celine Dions Baby).

  • <3

  • once escaped from work saying i have to pass exam at the university, just to go to see them for the 4th time )))in moscow russia

  • She is truly the BEST dancer i've ever seen. Stunning :)

  • Bernadette Flynn is amazing in this dance. It's so beautiful!

  • this sounds like king of the faries :)

  • @revlechick012 it is, haha!

  • so what's the differences between riverdance, lord of the dance and feet of flames? i've noticed some small differences but i don't understand why they all have the different names

  • @OkUrRight The same difference as The Wizard of Oz and Wicked... THEY ARE DIFFERENT SHOWS! It's about time people stopped thinking the name of the show is the name of the dancing. They are doing Irish Dancing adapted for shows. You should check out the facebook page "Oh you Riverdance?" "Um, no . I Irish dance." "Really? Whats that?" then you'd understand our frustration!

  • @schmeeling i'm talking about the show riverdance, LotD and FoF. i know the dance style is irish dancing & from what i know about wizard of oz & wicked is that wicked is from the view of the wicked witch of the west or east i forget. i have never seen it. like i said i have only noticed small differences between them but from what i can remember LotD & FoF have the same story.they had songs that crossed from one show to another. SO I WAS JUST ASKING no one has given me a straight answer even u

  • @OkUrRight Feet of flames is kind of a newer version of LOTD. It does have same songs and dances, but it has been 'updated' some. Riverdance is a whole other story and was the first Irish dancing show that really became popular round the world. But if you don't 'Irish dance' it's normal not to see much difference! Hopefully cleared that up for you?

  • i used to watch this when i was younger and wanted to be her when i grew up!

  • this song is "King of th Fairies", right? At least it sounds like it. :) I loved this show ever since I was a kid. It had a big influence on my music taste. I'm 17 now and I love Celtic dance music. <3

  • What a beautiful dancer she is

  • irish music is so beautiful!

  • God i have a boner!

  • Grazy good!

Love the music, love the dancing, love her looks!

    All together, perfect!

  • @4096quagmire they're probably fiberglass. that was all the rage back in the day. My hardshoes are a decade+ old and were purchased in '96? And they def had fiberglass heels.

  • @ThePsyhicBiker No,most of the hardshoes now have fiberglass tips, and the floors are made esp. to pick up the sound of the taps. My hardshoes from over a decade ago only had fiberglass heel pieces, but the tips are chipped away like wood. Fiberglass was just getting "in" when this video was filmed.

  • absolutely incredible. trying to emulate that is impossible!

  • My ankles hurt from watching this.

  • what a amazing grace

  • I LOOOVE THIS DANCE! I even tried to copy it (L)

  • oh gosh.. i love this music..this is beautiful..

  • her shoes make a great noise. anyone know what make they are? (probably something ridiculously expensive...)

  • @4096quagmire Prob down more to the sound tech and not the shoes

  • @4096quagmire Prob down more to the sound tech and not the shoes

  • @ThePsychicBiker no it is teh shoes theya re ona special floor thingy I can't remember what it was called

  • Красотуля!

  • Nothing against Sarah Clarke but Bernadette has much more grace and believability. Her movements are fluid and kick much higher. Much more innate ability. She gives you a "warm fuzzy" to to watch her

  • @viperjet9038

Yes it is a bigger enjoyment to watch Bernie dancing than Susan or any other female role dancer there.Bernie is flawless and so is her dance!:)

  • imsoedwardful...... her maiden name is Bernadette Flynn, but since she got married to Damien O'Kaine, her current name is , go figure, Bernadette Flynn O'Kaine :)

  • I love this. I really appreciate it more now that i've started hardshoe, and know how hard it is!

I also love this song, so ...

  • Dancing Angel... beautiful!

  • Beautifully sensual. a perfect counterpoint to Gillian's salacious sexuality

  • this takes irish dancign to a whole opther level, it also shows the other side of it too

  • Pure elegance.

  • i adore bernadette! <3 <3

  • i love that dance im learning the steps im just learning the end now

  • The song is Dance of the Fairies.

  • what this song?

  • whhat this song? i love it!!!please help

  • The tune is King of the Fairies. It's a non-traditional set.

This specific arrangement is called "dance of love" on the show's CD.

  • Actually its both a non-trad set AND a trad set. My TCRG was going to have me learn the trad set version after I finished Garden of Daisies.

  • King is actually a traditional set. This version... Well not so much but originally it was a traditional.

  • Sorry, this was directed at one of comments below, don´t why it ended up on top of everything.

  • beauty personified!

  • isnt it king of the Fairies? :P

  • yes!!

  • im learning this at the moment but no one i know knows it so im learning it from here ...

  • im spamming the comment under me

  • simply beautiful

  • shes just sexyy

  • omg that was FANTASTIC!!!!! its so passionate and alluring ugh i LOVE it

  • That is absolutely amazing. I want to dance like that =]

  • Why don't you? There's schools "everywhere" :]

  • not everywhere :(

  • "King of the Fairies" is the name of the tune.

  • i think... im in love.

HA, but seriously thats amazing. And thats coming from a guy who hates dancing

  • king of the fairies!!

  • Haha, I just said that myself! :D I love playing that song on the Irish flute and whistle. :D

  • so beautiful...music..movement...visage...she is so gracefull..i fell in love with her.. ;-)

  • do they sell this on dvd?

  • Yes

    There's a boxset with all 3 shows he's done

  • ok, thanks

  • this is so amazing and beautiful.

  • Quelle grâce!!!

    C'est magnifique, elle est superbe.

  • ...the most wonderful hornpipe...:) i absolutely LOVE this dance:)!!!

  • I love watching her dance to this piece of music. Relaxing and beautiful to watch her dance. She's such a beautiful person and dancer.

  • I tremble at the thought off seeing those legs in a pair of high heel shoes..no..I'd just collapse.

  • she is the queen of irish dance!

  • it's so amazing ! it's so sensual dancing and i love it i can just sit here and watch her all day ! she's so beautiful :D .

  • ...also her clicks are amazing her second leg on the click is beautiful. amazing

  • i love this song and the dance is beautiful, shes got amazing points and strong legs. lol umm i think ill go practice now...hhaha

  • bello, bello, bello

  • most beautiful...!!!

  • preferring gillian to bernadette is like preferring seduction to innocence... but to me gillian's choreography is better!

  • Is the beginning music King Of The Faeries? I love that set! The music is so pretty for it!

  • this one is great. she`s beautiful.

  • i love her!!!

    she is sooo great!!

  • shes good, but I will always favor Gillian. I love the music.

  • I agree

  • haha, I love gillian. Shes soo pretty and i lover her seductive character

  • I love her dancing! It's so musical and fluid. I definately think a different costume could have added to the mood.

  • hallo hab es selber in londo gesehen einfach nur klasse.

dein video find ich super mach weiter so

liebe grüße aus dem schönen saarland -deutschland

  • I love this dance...Bernadette is one of my idols with her grace and talent...I really hope i'll meet her once...

I can dance this choreography, too, i've learnt it watching this video, and with little changes of mine...I adore it:)

  • I like this version of "King of the Faeries," and she's a very talented, lovely dancer doing really nice choreography (except for the arms...FoF port de bras do not sit well with me), but her costume really bothers me. Huge hair, teeny glittery skirt and cropped top? Not my idea of classy or beautiful.

  • I like Gilian Norris more than B. Flynn, I have to say that, but this is a nice dance ;)

  • does anyone know where i can get this exact version of the song? (is it on a CD anywhere?)

  • It's on the Feet of Flames soundtrack.

  • she's awesome. I hope I'll meet her in the future, because I think she's a very friendly person :)

  • i just met her at the CRC dance camp in new york. she's so cute looking. she's got pixie cut hair, and she eats junk for meals, and is still this tiny little thing. she is sooooo sweet! she hung out with the 9 year olds all the time! the just adored her (even though they didnt really know who she was)

  • she is gorgeous. i think she is great. :]

  • POETRY IN MOTION---WOW !!!!

  • I love how smooth she is in this number. Fun tidbit for those who didn't know. This version was choreographed by John Carrey

  • Oh, that's so beautiful, the music, the dance. (L)

  • Very elegant, very graceful. I can never get bored watching her dance. She is like a dream.Any one knows her email?

  • Sorry to dampen your hopes but she is married to another dancer in her troop, though I think she does have a website. Google her name to get it. Good luck with swooning her ;)

  • dance of love? This tune is the King of the Fairies, it's odd to see it being used in the context of love. :) but nice arrangement anyhow

  • right it's weird

  • i knew i had heard the tune before! does anyone know the steps? can anyone send them to me?

  • These step no but if you watch you can break it down to the sets ...

  • what i meant was the actual steps to King of the Faeries :)

  • Oh yeah I can get the to you..do you irish dance first of all I hate to ask I don't want have it go over your head...

  • yeah ive been dancing for four years :)

  • Something tells me they were just very good friends, she is pretty and the dancing ive been a fan off for many years

  • Maybe Bernadette is his sweet heart! Oh yea and I know Michael is married, he's my 2nd cousin. He's really great!!! His wife is named Niamh. But once bernadette 2 my birthday party!

  • This dance is so great! She deserves Michael way more than Gillian. U can just see that Gillian is only doing it for Michael. This girl is so graceful and u can see she loves 2 dance.

  • Michael's been married to another dancer from his Celtic Tiger show. But I always did wonder if he and Bernadette had something going on. She's an amazing dancer and he thinks very highly of her.

  • Man, she is so good its almost scary. Wouldn't it be weird if Michael married her? I mean I cant see why he wouldn't. the answer stands for itself...

  • Bernadette is a lovely dancer. Her set here is absolutely breathtaking. Love the choreography.

  • I love King of the Fairies, and her non trad set is awesome! HaibyHoney, actually that is a pretty common irish dance move called a rock. They arn't bad for you that i know, as lots of us do them.

  • I was enthralled by this show when I was young, and this was one of my favourite dances. Beautiful music, and Bernadette Flynn is spectacular. :-)

  • i used 2 do irish dancing i quit about 2 months ago, wish i never though :(

  • at 1.17 : that really cant be good for your ankels i mean... i think she wont be able to walk when she`s 45 or maybe not cause else they wont do it.

    any way... luve the dance::)

  • it is so amazing, i love irish dancing, and i love Bernadette Flynn!

  • whouaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa trop fort !!! je redécouvre ce que veut dire l'art !!!

  • Et oui, c'est magnifique, n'est-ce pas ?

  • Haha...I can dance that choreography:):)

  • Wow !! Ik heb de Film ! Die is zoooo Mooii !!

  • I don't think I will ever get tired of watching this.

  • Me neither... <3

  • one of the best dances in show def she brill

  • This has to be my favorite part of the show. She is SOOO beautiful!

  • haha :)

  • i dont like the arm movements......

  • marshmallowpeeps12: Thank God you are in the minority.

  • Náádhera... fakt krása.. :-)

  • I will give that all these dancers are very talented, but Michael Flatley has the tackiest taste in costuming. Some are even trashy.. She's hardley wearing a skirt. Then later on he rips the small silk rag off the other girl's butt. On top of that, the coreography took dork and multiplied it by 107. I personally think that LOTD is better. On the other hand, I do like the new songs in FOF. I also like the costumes better on Breakout and victory.

  • when he rips the skirt of that girl, thats the new feet of flames. and unfortunately, i agree that the costumes have been a little less.... but some are really georgous. like the white and gold dress. and the red one, though its sexy, is still pretty.

  • Yes i have to agree with SaoirseYafa there... I'm 18 and I've been doing irish dancing for three years... and i've watched the LOTD and Feet of Flames obsessively cuz I am obsessed lol! And I've worked out the dance moves to Breakout from feet of Flames better than my teacher has! However, i haven't yet worked out this dance although its next on my list. go for it Krathor18, if i can do it, anyone can. :)

  • I LOVE THIS DANCE!!! I have known how to do it since I was 3.I have been dancing since then and I do this dance so well now.

  • Hey, lol

  • I love this dance... Its so beautiful! I wish I could learn how to do it someday... *^^*

  • I seriously have to comment to what sarcasticpunk11 said, YES YOU CAN START IRISH DANCING AT ANY AGE! Seriosuly why are you putting Krathor18 down? I read stories about dancers who started in their late teens and now perform in shows like Riverdance, LOTD and Celtic Tiger. There was also a guy who picked ID from Olive Hurley's videos in 3 years. It's never impossible. It's all about determination.

  • i love bernadette flynn.

i'm a tapper, and i've always wanted to do this

  • i think michael flatley kicks ass i am 15 and english but i want to learn how to dance like he does where do i start please anyone who can tap dance like him let me know i beg of you

  • LMAO!!!! Okay, most dancers start at the age of 4!! And Michael dosnt tap dance, HE RIVERDANCES!!! HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!! You might be able to find some place to take lessons in your area, but I dont know if they will take a 15 year old begginer.....

  • i think they would i mean hey i know people who have started practise at the ages of like 17 and they have feet of flames too lol but hey im pretty good now that i have watched a few of his videos and tapped to them and dude riverdance is a show!! he irish dances! duh!! and anyways long live Michael Flatley.

  • Wow... As an irish dancer myself, I feal kinda insulted that you think you can just pick something up, like irish dance, from a VIDEO!!!!! It takes years of practice, and alot of work. I started dancing at age 5, and now i'm 24 and still improving on my dance.

Riverdance is also a name for irish dance. Its also called stepdance. And if you know the difference, why did you call it tap? Its the farthest thing from tap.

  • i dunno coz they tap there feet and i cant be assed writing big words hahaha and yeah i pick shit up from movies heck i play brilliantly on keyboard drums and electric guitar and i dont read music so i dont see why i can't o the same thing with irish step dancing or whatever i call it irish tap dancing i mean flatley doesnt call his style anything because its so unique
