I'm a carpet fitter, and I remember a time we had to carry a 15 metre roll up 3 flights of stairs, lucky enough there was 4 of us to get it up there, but still was shattered by time we got it up the stairs.
had to use a crane in the docklands on the 15th floor they had to take out the windows to get the 2 15mtr rools in it was the biggest lounge i have ever done
not as bad as carrying a 20 metre roll of vinyle. thats a nightmare. atleast we get to flex th guns after (grrr!)

15ft x 32ft up two flights then into the attic had too re roll it and break our bolox for half an hour two of us

ha ha ha sorted had fork-lift pull a large roll up on site but never a crane!!!!
