Folks who want to blame Capcom for the current Marvel characters need to realize that Marvel had about 99% of the say in that realm. I don't like Phoenix Wright that much, but he was for the fans. I really don't like any of the new characters(except Nova, but only because he is good in terms of gameplay) on the Marvel side that much to be honest. The Capcom side was full of fan requests outside of the missing Megaman and we still NEED GENE!

I agree that it isn't popular in the USA or the West in general, but seriously, Rocket Raccoon? Trish? Only a few people know them...plus I think that a SB character would be far better suited for a fighting game than....Phoenix Wright or Frank West. I like the new chars, but Capcom is just stupid, instead of including Megaman, Gambit, Venom, Captain Commando, or even Gene from Godhand they just add random characters. I hope at least they come out as DLC later.

@JohnnyLeyenda Well it's Marvel themselves who have the final say on which of their characters get in. While Capcom chooses most of their characters based on popularity and fan requests(which do apply to Wright & West BTW), Marvel chooses their characters by marketability. So all this talk about how people want Gambit & Venom is irrelevant. It was said that both of those characters were denied by Marvel.

Capcom wanted Eddie Brock Venom, but were told by Marvel that they wanted Flash Thompson and decided not to dothis. There were a lot of disagreements along the way and all I gotta say is that crossing over IPs in a fighting game is a pain in the ass.

If you got out and ask many gamers around the teenage-age not alot will have played a megaman game. Sure they heard of him but never played a game with him, and for that reason they would preffer a charracter like Vergil (cause he is badass) or rocket raccon (since he is a raccon with a big machinegun). And as mentioned before, i dont support the way capcom releases their fighting games

Now why they put in Zero instead of Megaman i dont get, and they could atleast make a Megaman skin for Zero.

Fuck Street Fighter, fuck Dead Rising, fuck Resident Evil, and Ace Attorney has gone off a cliff since Justice for All so fuck that too. No 3DS so I'm not getting MH4 or Layton Vs Ace Attorney.
