@iarcheese A smart person seek to remove the causes of a physical ailment, not just to manage its symptoms. Marijuana has been used to manage the symptoms of many of ailments and not to cure them. Alzheimer disease is caused by nerve damages due to lifelong exposure to many toxins in our environment and food. It is reversible with a proper detox, diet and exercises. This approach is far better than the use of marijuana that just delay the symptoms of Alzheimer disease without curing it at all...

An Italian doctor - not on pot - found out that by injecting baking soda to an area of the body with cancer, he was able to cure it completely. Actually, I am for legalizing it, since it is not a substance really dangerous, that a lot of smoke it while little people get sent in jail for that. And studies show that its legalization tend to reduce its use, the criminality around and even, the use of other hard drugs and tax payer would save money from taking care over crowed jails. There is more benefits.

Depression is a terrible disease and I won't blame someone who use drugs trying to get out hit. But drug is not the answer to those problems. There are many ways that combined are more efficient: mediation, yoga, detox (from mercury, fluoride and so on), healthy diet (with organic food), keep an healthy and high vision about life, understand your fears, avoid dogmas.
