It is better to put the hook on the line with 2 adjustable rubberlined crimps from Breakaway tackle,(see their website) and leave a little room on either side so the hook (and bait) can move much more natural because every knot,no matter how good or clever it looks weakens your line and these crimps do not!
@viss3n With the Breakaway crimps I didn't have that problem yet,because they are rubberlined you can squeeze them really thigt on your line so they don't move much but they wont cause damage to the line,i have had 10lb + fish with no problems at all,good luck and thigt lines!
@viss3n Ik zie net dat jij van Nederland bent,dus in het Nederlands dan,een snoekbaars heeft echte "hondetandjes" en zal de 26-30/00 mm fluorocarbon waarmee meestal gevist wordt niet overbijten,snoek kan dit wel,maar ik heb al heel wat snoek en snoekjes gevangen aan 30/00 fluorocarbon zonder problemen,als je ziet dat je onderlijn na het vangen v/e snoek wat gerafeld is,gewoon vervangen,vissen maar!
@viss3n Kan je als hoofdlijn gebruiken,maar je onderlijn waar je dus je eigenlijke dropshotmontage op knoopt is best fluorocarbon ( i.v.m. de zichtbaarheid) met een kleine wartel of karperringetje of een gewone bloedknoop aan mekaar zetten en klaar is kees,kijk eens naar de filmpjes van Dietmar Isaiasch op deze site,superinformatief en leerzaam,gewoon Dietmar Isaiasch intikken,succes!

@viss3n Kan je als hoofdlijn gebruiken,maar je onderlijn waar je dus je eigenlijke dropshotmontage op knoopt is best fluorocarbon ( i.v.m. de zichtbaarheid) met een kleine wartel of karperringetje of een gewone bloedknoop aan mekaar zetten en klaar is kees,kijk eens naar de filmpjes van Dietmar Isaiasch op deze site,superinformatief en leerzaam,gewoon Dietmar Isaiasch intikken,succes!
