However, considering that she was a big movie star and that movie is a classic and is on TV (TCM) all the time it is interesting you haven't heard of it. If you have heard of Marilyn Monroe, it is not hard to think that you would have heard of JM. Mariska Hartigay is pretty famous and any fan or occassinal viewer of L&O: SVU would know that too

Aging Psychobilly that I am,, There were no real ALL girl bands like this.. The Cramps had Poison Ivy, The golden horde(from Dublin), had bernie,, .. Some bands like the boothill foot tappers were had girls.. but they tended towards semi country-ish.. No all girl bands I can think of , but I could be wrong
