I´d much rather watch these old episodes of Top Gear than Fifth Gear. Jeremy Clarkson when he still had hair and looks like a gorilla in a black leather jacket squeezed into a Ferrari 355. He lifted Top Gear from a boring BBC program to be one of the biggest TV shows on Earth by introducing humor into the program. Not bad eh?
This is why the old Top Gear was better than the new Top Gear. Informative car buying guides by Quentin. What he didn't know about cars was not worth knowing.
that's an incredibly expensive cop car, that's why in America, we go with Dodge Chargers (290, 385 or 470 HP), Ford Tauruses (292 or 365 HP), and Chevrolet Caprices (306 or 426 HP), which are all quite affordable, and yes they can go 'round corners
Old Top Gear was the best and was more on everyone's level. The latest Top Gear is only good for the challenges they do sometimes, such as driving from Switzerland on a single tank of fuel (Scooby, Jag and Polo TDi).
@1100HondaCB@MrsBrownsBoysFeck I agree, but the BBC is giving the general public what they want. Ideally there needs to be a replacement program for the original format, maybe giving `Jezza` his own program where he can be a destructive muppet on his own, but I doubt it`ll happen.
@LondonItalian The modern Top Gear is okay sometimes, but I will always prefer the old format when they actually did realistic investigations. The "new" Top Gear with some of their challenges, I find rather silly. For example, the one when each of them had to buy a car and turn it into a police car and Richard came up with the Vitara. I thought it was crude and stupid to be fair and rather annoying. I can't relate to unrealistic non-sense like that.
I do wish Quentin was still on Top Gear. His buying guides were more interesting than any caravan crashing or Bugatti Veyron nonsense that graces the current TG.

@LondonItalian There already is a replacement program for the original format. It's called Fifth Gear.
