The best tax is a FLAT tax. Hong Kong did it and look at them.

We set a 15% tax rate for all income earners than NOBODY should complain. Employees won't have to fear promotion because of the fear of a massive tax hike. Employers will save money. Those who live in the lower incomes will have a greater means for upward mobility.

Liberals support feeding poverty with welfare to keep the poor voting for them. Libertarians/conservatives support giving them tools to be middle class and get a job.

Norquist laundered money from Abramoff's Indian Clients (Abramoff abused the trust of his American Indian clients and raped them for millions.) Norquist laundered the cash for a percentage and sent it to Ralph Reed to fund the righteous church-based fight against new casino (competition.)

If he didn't break a law, he certainly betrayed a trust. Why he can remain a respectable spokesman is a sad commentary on the state of Washington and the media.
