  • Bream is a funny guy ,and very likeable too.

  • Amazing character - grew up listening to JB and JW duo. One of the most musical performers there has ever been.

  • Love the silver record story, classic!!

  • How many other talented people were crushed by the British class system, and didn't come through like Bream?

Meanwhile, all those peeps with posh accents and no talent sail through life.

  • Where can I get this DVD?!?!?

  • @xamos26 This is NOT from the "My Life in Music" DVD. The footage here is as indicated earlier, and is not commerically available on DVD.

  • @tesla1981 ah you are correct...my memory didnt serve me right my bad lol deleting that comment :/

  • omg ...love it

  • this is great!

  • I grew up, mostly in England, listening to JW and JB on LP records through headphones late into the night. I would dream of playing guitar like they do. I play very well now but nowhere near the mastery of JB. I so admired JW for his technical mastery and JB for his absolute command of conveying the feelings of a piece and outright performance. When these men pass a piece of me will die too.

  • Very interesting video, good stuff.

  • Thank God for people like Bream and Segovia who worked so hard to lift the status of this wonderful instrument against snobbery and predjudice.

  • Thanks for posting this!!

  • julian bream is the coolest man on earth

  • indeed

  • jb and jw playing ping pong...priceless
