Greetings, Back in the day of 8-tracks, I would listen to this particular song and know Wonder's music bridged the worlds of Classical and Soul.

The embellished notes, the dissonance in the choruses, and the terraced dynamics are all so very evident. And, lyrics that speak to the innermost regions of the soul... oh, and the choir's not too bad either!

no, i don't have to post a video. I am a holder of 3 university degree: rythmics, opera singer and choral conductor. so, I am a professionalist. I have my own choir and I just can hear things like that. :)

Amazing soloist, choir is good. Bit between 5:19 and 5:27 is a little shaky and off. Yet they nail it at 5:39. I enjoyed it.

i was just listening to the original stevie wonder song.. and then i noticed that a chorus sung this.... OMG this was amazing.. im not in chorus anymore but im so sad that i didn't know there was sheet music to this song. this was amazing.. and let me tell you jordan... It seems that is not such a big space/concert hall. He is straining on the high notes. It either points to inappropriate fore singing or poor diaphragmatic support or it is, just plain and simple, out of his range. Its a good voice; a young voice; and will be a better one.

The Choir needs to have more support and stop cuting notes, there are also some other inconsistancies going on with support.

I wonder how many are music majors and for that fact, voice majors. True support will be a problem at this age unless, they have started at a very young age to sing with proper guidance.

For the most part, they sung well. The soloist should have constrained his movement and had put that energy in attacking his higher range. Such a distraction is not good for the entire body of singers.
