hi i'm back and just wanted to say I've done one slipper so far and its super easy and they are super cute on!!!.....thanks so much i just got to get more embellishing ideas now and also i found this from a D.I.Y site if u take a hot glue gun and put little dots on the bottom it keeps them from skidding!!!.....especially if u have hard wood floors like I do!!!....safety first....lol now i'm hooked i'm making everybody i know a pair!!! lol

Start with 10 sc in the first row, then continue with the pattern. (make 2 sc in each stitch in the next row, then sc in every stitch for every row after.)

If you only use one strand the slippers will turn out smaller. You would also have to use a smaller hook, or you would have holes throughout the slippers.

So to use one strand of yarn, you will have to use a size 6.5mm crochet hook, and begin with more stitches than in the video.
