wtf?? dylan is not playing the harmonica on this?? where did you get that information from? and if its not dylan playing the harmonica then who is it?
I would really love if theyd put out alot more Bootleg CDs with botched test recordings, sort of like this cough song, & songs that never made it to an album for any reason, and anything else they have of him just playing around on his guitar. Dylan was underrated as a guitar player and I would just love to hear lots of his other unproduced stuff. Hes the boss, so I guess it depends if hed want to do it, unless they wait till after he dies. But I dont even want to think of that happening.
Glad you all like this Dylan track... enjoyed reading your comments and please comment further! I will probably be adding a few more Dylan numbers in the near future...
It sure is, it seems like since going electric Dylan lost all confidence in his guitar playing abilities - at only a few concerts is his guitar actually audible - he is a very competent guitarist and this songs shows it.
Then i gues you havent heard him very much. In fact that the young Dylan was kind of a finger-picking-king;) compare with "Dont Think Twice" and "Seven Curses" for example, and you will hear that it's most likely Dylan playing this. peace
why not?! i guess you dont listen to his music very much then. in fact, the young Dylan was kind of a finger-picking-king =) compare with "Dont Think Twice" or "seven Curses" for example and you will most likely hear that this is Dylan. It's his voice thats for sure.
I wouldn't call him a king of guitar playing really...if you've played for many years like he had when he was 20, then this kind of finger-picking isn't very demanding :)

Does anyone know from what year the photo at 0:30-1:00 is? I imagine that's what Dylan would have looked like if he'd been a member of The Beatles.
typewriter10000 3 years ago
i imagine 62 to 64 before 62 he had a chubby little kid face and after 64 his hair dot long as shit
thejerrybjj 3 years ago
definitely 1964--dylan's hair is like a measuringtape for the years 1963-1966, because he didn't cut it for those three years

Discussing the merits of Dylan's singing seems to me bordering on insanity.
