  • Way back in the 1960's, when the good girls liked the Beatles & the bad girls liked the Stones, I was always more of a Stones girl. However when I heard The White Album I knew it was something exceptional & it was the 1st LP I bought with my own money. I was sixteen years old, so glad to see teens getting into it now <3

  • Buen album de los beatles tal vez de los mejores por su volumen de canciones

  • the tune of wild honey pie is how the beatles communicated with their alien masters

  • @matchbox555 Lol yeah. I was gonna say...you can be the BIGGEST beatle fan ever and not like that song. That was the point they made it for, I think. And if not.....that's unfortunate for them lol.

  • so were the Grateful Dead

  • the beatles were at their all time greatest when they were high as shit.

  • Why do I have "Hentai Sex Porn" as my related videos?!

  • wild honey pie doesn't sound good to me at all...

  • ♫ Hey Bungalow Bill, what did you kill?♫

"The 5 people who disliked this video, that's who!"

  • All the politics aside . . .I love the Beatles.

  • @woodcutterron they wouldn't like you

  • John hated himself, unfortunately. Self-loathing transferred some of it to Republicans . . .who represented his own wealth, which NEVER could have been acquired under hos own political beliefs. His guitl and self loathing never overode his enjoymenty of his money though. Go figure.

Liberals are SO shallow, which is why they don't actually "get" what happened with the Beatles. Paul still feels guilty too . . .but not guilty enough to surrender his perks. It's all kinda hypocritical

  • @woodcutterron You don't know shit about the Beatles, right wing asshole. Shut your piehole and go back to playing your garbage uke as you should spend more time practicing and less time running your yap all over the net with your paranoia.

  • @jjjameson2006 What in that post really offended you? Did you expect him to say something degrading about a group of people? And if he didn't you'd still argue with him? Keep off the internet from here on out. You may be trolling, sure, but still. Most trolls actually have some sort of grounds to argue, rather it be a terrible one or not, but it's still grounds. You didn't have any reason to post that.

  • Ha! Honey Pie reminded me of Oh Brother Where Art Thou! Super Soviet Bear approves of this video

  • if yoko is who john chose, then i respect that. i can't stand all these people saying that mrs ono split up the beatles. they were going to split up anyway - it was inevitable. and when john was with yoko it was a time when he was almost truly happy, and i hate it that people are so bitter about the beatles splitting up that they attack the love between two artists. i mean, really.

  • Yeah, this is some great music...the best that they ever did...just before ol' Cowboy John Lennon walked in, said, "I want a divorce" and then walked back out. "Oh, how the life goes on..."

  • @ruthiesky Although there had been running disputes between the members of The Beatles, namely between Lennon and McCartney, Paul McCartney stated publicly in 1970 that the band had broken up. There had been no such final agreement between the band members, but McCartney's statement was followed by a "Fine, then"-type reaction on the parts of Lennon, Harrison, and Starr.

  • @gbkarr87 Then are you saying that John Lennon never did such a thing? It is my understanding that he did. Please clarify, if you would be so kind. Thank you. I am not surprised by McCartney's attitude. It doesn't seem as if he ever liked the Yoko-thing. (I, myself, am not a Yoko liker, sorry, but I'm just not) Paul McCartney and John Lennon both had tremendous talent (Paul still does) but Paul seemed to have the bigger ego. I saw Lennon as a true creator and McCartney as the true career man.

  • @ruthiesky John Lennon explained to Dick Cavett, later in the '70s, that he had suspected that it would be inevitable for the band members to part ways eventually. He understood that they were individual artists who were growing up and into their respective styles. He never claimed to have felt betrayed by McCartney's decision. He acknowledged that the break-up had to have happened at some point, and that it did result in beautiful music being written by McCartney, Harrison, and himself.

  • @gbkarr87 I appreciate your patience and clarification. However, I think that you may have misunderstood me. What I am asking is, did John Lennon walk into some sort of studio session at one point and say, "I want a divorce" and then walk out, again? If he did, that's just plain cool. I can just picture it.

  • @ruthiesky It was at their Apple headquarters in London. He recalled in an interview, “At the meeting Paul just kept mithering on about what we were going to do, so in the end I just said, ‘I think you’re daft. I want a divorce’.” That was in September, 1969. They kept quiet about the altercation, lest it harm sales of the "Let it Be" album, which was about to be released. Seven months later, Paul McCartney announced that the Beatles had disbanded.

  • @gbkarr87 Wow. That is just priceless. Obviously, it was a relief then, for the band. They were, like, already to go on their own then. The fans (including me) took it pretty hard, at first. But back then, we didn't realize how much more great music those four guys would produce. As for Paul McCartney and John Lennon, I suppose they were ready to part ways and reinvent themselves. But I would love to have been a mouse in the corner of that room when John Lennon delivered that famous line. Thanks

  • Is that Yoko doing mommy's voice?

  • Yoko knew where to find the good smack

  • John Lennon loved Yoko Ono and really disliked Republicans. That's good enough for me.

  • @kassandrasduplex And, it is good enough for me, also!

  • @kassandrasduplex Maybe that's why this crazy psycho killed him in 1981....?

  • @kassandrasduplex It has come out recently that he supported Reagan before he died.

  • Dear Prudence is the second track on the White Album Part 1 video

  • Dear Prudence is the second track on the White Album Part 1 videa

  • @g79 Dear Prudence is also not on this video at ALL.

  • @Ninjewdi

It's the second track on part 1 of the White Album Vid

  • The night before it came out, KMPX in San Francisco played it cover to cover, the next day I cut school to buy it from tower records.

  • this was the best popgoup of the world

  • Is it racist that I can imagine Yoko saying Bungawhoa Bill in a think Japanese accent... it is isn't it?

  • anyone want a piece of honey pie just listen to the song and eat it through your ears!!!!!!

  • wild honey pie lolz

  • my cousins think it's Buffalo Bill, not Bungalo Bill.

    LOL

    those idiots.

And the one thinks he knows everything about the Beatles.

This is the album that should be more loved!

  • john hated obla-de-obla-da because paul spent so much time recording it to his liking.

  • I hear people critisize songs like Wild Honey pie and the particippation of Yoko in The continuing Story of Bungalow Bill, but who cares. It's the love of the beatles that they gave to us and the love that they took with us.

  • perfecto

  • Ob la di ob la da! =]

  • all de children sing

  • I have the original mono mix on vinyl which I bought in the early 1970s. The first thing I noticed with the remastered mono mix is that there are five claps at the beginning of Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da just like in the stereo mix. The true original mono mix is missing the claps.

  • 3:14

  • 5:48 sounded TERRIBLE

  • @JayPivot

    haha yoko ...OH NO.

  • Yung, your comment reminded me of an old saying; " If the guy had aimed a little to the left, he would have been a hero ! " : ) ( JK )

  • this is music. fact!

  • greastest album ever.

  • Problem is they're not that timeless. They are a slice and a particular direction you can take with music. Not the only direction you can take. And it concerns me that people have elevated this group to such heights as being musical jesus. And the best. They are the most popular group. But art in it's infinite nature has no best. I mean no disrespect to a successful group but they are definitely not on my gotta hear before I die list.

  • @desoblake The Beatles have influenced many bands that came out during the 60s and beyond all the way up to today. Their style is so diverse that the music is indeed timeless.

  • im a kid im 12

  • @GeorgeHarrison00 hey!!! me too!! :D

    seriously.

  • and god said let the world know good music, and he created the beatles.

  • who the hell disliked this, that is just the STUPIDEST think i ever saw

  • at 5:49, is that yoko? her voice is slightly more than creepy

  • @darlyn0053 Damn right!

  • @13THBEATLE - Well aren't you a rude little shit. You can say what you have to say without calling people stupid. Take chill pill for god sakes.

  • @13THBEATLE - Oh please, you're not going to tell me he had no musical talent until she showed up are you?

  • Man, does THIS bring back lots of memories. The Beatles were forbidden in my home when I was a kid. They were entirely too radical. So, we'd slink over to a neighbor kid's house and listen!! ;-) Man was I broken hearted when they broke up!

  • i love the beatles

  • why over analize there music they are top tunes from a top band end of no need 2 disect

  • How did they come up with this?

  • you need to stop picking on Yoko even if she broke up the Beatles all that matters is that John loved her and was happy

  • great vid i love this band greatest band ever in history

  • @MegaBeatlesfan1000 yeah, their music make us feel happy all the day, I love them. SO MUCH!!!! I LOVE JOHN GEORGE PAUL AND RINGOOO!!!!! Fucking Boss!

  • @13THBEATLE you said that right, brother (with the exception of imagine)

  • god bless whoever posted these videos

  • trust im 15 and i have loved the beatles since i was 3 and im the biggest fan ever :)

  • brian Epistein " Kids will probably still be listing to the Beatles in the year 2000". hey Brian guess what? the year is 2010 and kids are still listing to The Beatles.

  • I adore "Wild Honey Pie". Pure fun in the recording studio :P

  • I never realized Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da was so late in their career.

  • is that yoko at 5:47? Wow she's annoying

  • @legobuilder1001

I repeat. Get the white album, kids..

  • Things aare getting rediculous with all this mainstream rap shit. Why don't you get off the bandwagon and listen to some GOOD music?? the beatles are forever the best band in all music

  • o-bloody o-bood-die! not mine. found it on the internet. paul is NOT DEAD

  • its ob la di bla da check out the actual album cover!!

  • PAUL'S BASSLINE ON THE CONTINUING STORY OF BUNGALOW BILL.

    Nice.

  • no. yoko ono is fuckin annoying

  • Plus, I think part of the thing that makes the Beatles not only the best band but probably the most important thing in music, and one of the most important things in all art and cultural history, in the last 100 years is the fact they fit their time.

They start 1962, right when the first parts of the 60s really get going, they develop with it, and right when the "Love" movement sort of fractures and life gets hostile, they breakup.

    Life mirroring art...

    They ARE that time period.

  • @yungnome Couldn't agree more; it's funny how so many people criticise Linda's singing, but they have little to say about Yoko's chicken squawk.

  • @yungnome shut up you tard

  • @yungnome screw you

  • lol

  • your an idiot

  • I like the fact that kids are starting to get to know the Beatles. They have practically covered all music genre in the almost ten years they were together as the most influential band of the 20th century, from pop to rock. Get the White Album kids, and listen to the origins of heavy metal rock. Thanks to dad for introducing me to this timeless band. Bands today will be forgotten in years to come but the Beatles' sound will still be rocking for all eternity.

  • dood, i love loving the beatles, cuz i know in like thirty years ill still love them

  • @ericdapugi Oh trust me i did, i hate all that rubish Lady Gaga and shit, Why cant music be like this... <3 Beatles <3

  • @ericdapugi amen

  • @ericdapugi from pop to rock?? .Rock IS pop . Get to school kids. The Beatles are a rock/pop band ,not a band that plays pop AND rock. They didnt cover evry genre ,they incorporated themes from diff, genres into their rock/pop music .Theres a difference. There is no Beatles` Jazz tune, there is a Beatles` rock/pop tune with Jazz themes in it though, capice?? Theres no Beatles` Classical song but there is a Beatles` rock/pop song with Classical themes, you dig?!! Learn it right kids, not half-baked.

  • @ericdapugi yeah!

  • @ericdapugi Yes us kids are getting to no the beatles i mean the times are changing and the need for peaceful protest is going up and Me myself as a teen ive gotten everyone i know to listen to the beatles and want to rebel against authority and as bob dylan put it "The times are changing" the need for garbage autotuned disney "music" has gone down and the need for real music has gone up and thats why alot of teens have turned to the beatles.

  • @ericerest RIGHT ON~~ I envy your journey. Now if ALL your peers felt the same way, well, we could get RID of RAP, and the Disney crap. YAHOO

  • @ericerest And yet some of us don't want to start some protest and just listen to good music. Imagine that!

  • @ericerest

excellent,,,, keep up the good work

  • @ericerest, I really like what you said. Do you play an instrument, or write, or sing?

  • @ericerest ive always known the Beatles . Im 16 and I was brought up in the ways of the Beatles.

  • @ericerest - You are sooooo correct- There is no soul in today's music-

the Beatles were real people making real music- and spoke of the universally relevant issues that responsible kids growing up want to and need to see. Especially of they don't have that gentle, but firm hand of leadership on their shoulder provided by their parents or other adults- that every kid should have.

    Peace !

  • @ericdapugi That is so correct Im 12 I heard of the beatles when I was 9 I just loved them the first time I saw them and they just live on,it's so much better than justin bieber (I dont mind) and the jonas brothers (I HATE)

    Peace Out

  • Ringo Starr is still alive and touring. BklynBoy

  • The beatles are the beatles

  • cause theres only 2 alive

  • its bro jammin...with weed...

  • why are people taking their time trying to choose over the white album and sgt pepper?!?

the beatles were amazing and musical geniuses and all their albums were great, stop choosing

  • consider that Hey Jude was left off the album. that song would have been a career for many of the bands of that time...& now. their music is timeless.

  • Hmm

I LOVE THE WHITE ALBUM! but sgt peppers and the magical mystery tour are also amazing albums and i love their older stuff too like from help! so its really hard :/

  • i have to admit this album and Sgt Peppers ohh its a close run thing has to which one to pick has my best!?what do you people reckon?which would you choose?

  • @Nohname1

    yes sir.

    its documented

  • @Nohname1

    no, it was john.

    really lol

  • paul messes up on obla-di-obla-da thats why he repeats the last verse(or was it paul?)

  • Listen closely at 6:00 to 6:04 . I think you can here beeps 0.0. Lol but entirely great album all together.

  • haha its part of the song

  • As musicas são boas, porem as letras são meio estranhas. São poucas as letras com algum sentido lógico.

  • even their throwaway songs were catchy as hell... i have to stop listening to these fellas ... they are too good, it is almost embarrassing.

  • whats the deal with honey pie? either a filler, or they were high as a kite and forgot to take it off the album.

its not a horrible song, but they could have done 5x better.

  • McCartney said of this song: "We were in an experimental mode, and so I said, 'Can I just make something up?' . It was very home-made; it wasn't a big production at all. I just made up this short piece and I multitracked a harmony to that, and a harmony to that, and built it up sculpturally with a lot of vibrato on the [guitar] strings, really pulling the strings madly. Hence, 'Wild Honey Pie', which was a reference to the other song I had written called 'Honey Pie'."

  • According to McCartney the song might have been excluded from The Beatles album, but Pattie Boyd "liked it very much so we decided to leave it on the album."

  • who played the classical guitar outro to wild honey pie?

  • probably Harrison

  • Comment removed

  • George and Paul were fighting, that is why they broke up. Paul got big headed and into the '70's . Not John or Yoko's fault

  • yea, but the situation with Yoko didnt help:/

by the end you could tell they were ready to move on

  • this is the first time i have listened to this album and i love it, i asked for it for christmas.... and my mom was like what?? awesome

  • I love the White Album! Brings back so many great memories.

  • yoko just obliterated lennon as a genius song writer and whats worse is that he was gunna leave her and go back to england just after he was shot

  • It would have been pretty amazing if he went anywhere after he was shot.....

  • Comment removed

  • I was just being silly, Efingerboard said "[John] was gunna leave [Yoko] and go back to england just after he was shot." So, being silly, I said "It would be amazing if he went anywhere AFTER getting shot." That's all. I love Paul and JOHN, And miss them..

  • I know! I thought your sentence structure joke was funny, and I was attempting to make a supplementary joke of my own.

  • Re: csillag -

And why would he add getting shot to his travel itinerary?

  • yoko is crazy.

  • honey pie on this one is really called "wild honey pie"

  • Yoko wrecked John Lennon as a poet/lyricist. He should of listened to his mates.

  • actully in an interview with john he stated the real reason they broke up was george. i 4get why but yoko inspired some of johns greatest songs in his solo career most were i found this out at the john lennon exzibit in ny's annex

  • how do u work that out his album after he left the beatles double fantasy is a classic and he wrote woman, beautifull boy, dream no9,imagine ,jealous guy and many many others after he left and when he was with yoko so ur talking pish maye sorry

  • does anybody know what the key change is in the chorus? of bungalow bill?

  • I guess it's hard to fill up two records. Honeypie.

  • am i the only one who thinks Yoko ruined Bungalow Bill? I mean, its not their best song...but still. Its The Beatles. Not The Beatles and someone else.
