Nice Job! You've captured Mr. Howe's arrangement very well. Don't worry so much about the metronome on this one - let it flow naturally. Did you work this out by ear and the video?
It was a mixture of I remember using a transcription I found somewhere on the internet. But it was a very simplistic version. So I began using visual sources like from the Maginfication/Symphonic Live DVD's and I did have the pleasure of being an audience member of his solo tour where he played this and from that I saw how he'd arranged it. I just sat down and began piecing the song together and the result (although quiet) is the video. ~Craig
Pretty good. Where did you learn it? I've been trying to figure it out by ear and its not working out too well. Just a suggestion a little tip i was taught a few years back is to just relax and let the music flow no concentration it'll make the biggest difference in your music.
What??? I'm sorry but I know they say think big but thats just stupid. Maybe I might do it one day but I mean like it shouldn't be encouraged. Thank big and win??? Isn't that a reason why people lose their houses due to gambling so much? That's a very bad phrase to use. Aim high, Aim higher would have been a better choice. ~Craig
Steve Howe's timing is here and there on this tune...this is a pretty close approximation. It would sound a little richer on a nylon string, but all the pieces are here. Keep up the good work! I'm trying to learn this one too, so I can appreciate the effort you're making!
I have a problem with my nylon guitars and I am trying to get a hold of a new full size guitar :) Hopefully I can get a remake of this up :) Thanks again
That was pretty bad. Horrible timing and use of rubato. Use a metronome and I assure you your playing will get better. As well, learn how to use your fingers. Youve got 5 fingers, use them all.
Kid, you are a trained classical guitarist, and one needing many more years to get to a point that you should be classified as such. This is a kid who is self taught playing a rock and roller's version of something he loves. Why be a prick? Honest question.
Why? Because it is just stupid to such beautiful music. You are right... I need many more years to be classified as such. I just can't stand when someone just butchers music like that. It's a pet peeve.
tolerance is not only a virtue you may learn in time, it is something I believe Vivaldi had in numbers. He may have considered this a great take on his song. Who are we to say, or you? Be more open. That is what the arts are all about. Do you think?
"You are" right. Sorry, just the old teacher in me! Actually 'correct' is more, well correct. Again, just ribbing you. Keep up your excellent work. I did check it, as you surely assumed. Peace
Mr. Numbers - Have you ever even heard Howe's version of this song? He may have been the one to butcher it, but this kid did a great job playing Steve's version!
Keep up the practice, and maybe in a few years, we'll be coming to see you play!
You are an ass. I like to keep such things from the surface but you inspired me. Vivaldi "hates" him? Are you just trying to get attention? Of course you are. Silly me to indulge the child. i miss rearing I guess. Go ahead, make another immature jab. Peace,,, find some.
I agree your interpretation is closer to Steve´s on NNA, and hats off to you for trying this piece. Maybe practise also to relax whilst playing and to let the music (rather than your performance of it) be the thing - you look so tense, and so would most people! Practice away and soar like one of Steve´s slide solos..

Ignore these morons. Guitar arrangements are difficult to come by, and Steve Howe's are excellent, and this is a damn good effort, if a little quiet.

Yeah I'm still perfecting some of the touches of the audio quality. I nearly have it done :) thanks

Dude! You still haven't tuned your guitar. Oh, also, how fucking tall are you? Because that guitar looks tiny!

No... I am just educated in music. Something you are not. He butchered it. Ignore 768111? At least I know what I am talking about.

YOU COMPLETELY BUTCHERED THE SONG.
Vivaldi hates you for that.
THIS IS AN INSULT to classical music.
