go to the furducers. They make them starting at about 800 bucks for simple designs. At the most, you'd be spending about 1000 dollars. Pretty good for the quality they make

Bestiality is NOT part of the fandom - and all sub groups in society dress up at some level, this is just one of the more obvious to the eye.

There ARE bad people within FF, but there are bad people in christanity, and Sci Fi, and among people who likes fishing....saying that this sub culture can only be allowed to excist if it can be proven angelic - that is a sign of bad judgement. Grow up.

heeps of well known furrys are made at a website called mixed candy, i was going to get them to make one for me but it takes up to a year to make and i have to wait a long time till commisions go back up, so now im going to try make my own. its not like i will be able to go to cons by my self for years anyway

Well yes, of course you can buy a suit from a studio or private creator, but that normaly cost alot more - and I personaly like the feeling of creating the suit myself...to watch it grow from the basic materials into a suit with personality - it's a dream for an artist.

I have alot of nice furcloth right now, really high quality and such lovely colors and patterns...I can hardly wait to see what kind of species and personalitys I can create with them.

Ironically, my favorite suits are at 0:17, 0:19 and 1:39. Fursuits these days are getting better and better, and my favorites have always been the leaner ones with shirt and pants. Maybe one day I'll get myself to a AnthroCon.....

Yeah, my favorites are the shirtful ones too.

Unless, of course, the fursona the fursuit illustrates doesn't wear shirt. I don't find anything wrong in others, but I just find it somehow more furry-style if it has clothes on.

But the fursuits get better and I might myself get one someday...

Well, that depends on how good you are at improvising and creating things.

For me it was a real challange, since I hadn't sewn ANY clothing or bodysuits EVER. I made my own pattern, and much of the suit had to be sewn by hand - like the head.

There are lots of tutorials on the internet though, and many who has made their own suit can tip you on how to do.

All in all its HARD, but if you plan how you want it to look, and how you are gonna get it that way, it's not impossible.

There are several studios on the internet where you can make a comission to get a fursuit - but I warn you; those can cost you a lot of money.

I made my fursuit myself. It is fun to see it grow, and it was a fun challange.

See, I never really saw the point of hating furries. It's a form of expression, a whole artistic culture. I mean, look at those costumes! The time and detail put into each one! True, the furry fandom has its 'lesser popular' features, but what subculture doesn't? I personally respect anyone who expresses themselves, especially in such a manner as this, and that is what managed to convince me to become a furry. People should thoroughly research something before deciding to hate it.

Fursuiting is basically dressing up as your character. It's cosplaying, only with anthropomorphic animals. It's kinda like roleplaying.

You can make one of your own or buy one that someone else has done, but be awere, to buy one can cost you alot.

Just to build one yourself can cost 250$, and to buy one might cost twize as much and up to 1000-2000$ for the realy proffesional made ones.

It's alot of money, but the fake fur is not cheap, and it's a bit of work to create one.

And it is so totaly worth it once you have one =^___^=

Wow! I'm new to the whole furry thing, and I was wondering if the full fursuits like those were required or it was okay to have just ears, tail, and paws? You don't have to dress up at all to be a part of the Furry fandom, full body fursuits are one of the rarest expressions in the fandom as far as I know. But to say you have a fursuit then you only need a pair of kitty/fox/wolf/animal of choice/ fake ears, and you are expressing yourself with the use of dressing up - fursuiting.

The partial suit, with just paws and stuff is more common, and not as warm or expenssice.
