  • and of course us fools would pay what ever they charge, the current internal combustion engine, is the most ineffecient design many people have made alternative designs which had their patents bought, and never put to production because the oil campanies would loose profit

  • @iGaRaai90 that has nothing to do with it. The profit made by selling a car with a more fuel efficient engine would be a tremendous boost to any company. the problem comes when it would require mass adaption of the company to show they are going to support the new idea and they are confident in the design. Like mazdas rotary engine. Its not the answers to our prayers but proof a different design can be successful

  • 10 dollars/gallon in germany..... because we have to pay taxes for muslims in europe :(

  • @iLoveJesus164 why do you have to pay taxes for Immigrants occupation? reminds me of here in Canada where most of our taxes go to the Indians which were on this land that we stole from them, but Europe? thats not muslim land.

  • @iGaRaai90 its becoming a muslim land...... a muslim continent....... 75 % of all newborns are muslim, the most common name in europe is mohamed for newborns

  • Here's a tip to improve your gas mileage: tomcampbell.goxft.com

  • My 25 year old Honda Rebel gets 60-80mpg, depending on how fast I drive and how loaded it is with groceries, 70 mpg is my average driving 25 miles to town, picking up groceries, and driving 25 miles back at around 60mph. By comparison, my cars get 22-25mpg; or only 1/3 as far as the motorbike on the same amount of gas. I love going to the pump now. I put $5 in the tank and go 150m; the SUV next to me pumps in $50. I'm like, wow. Just wow.

  • one good thing is to plan your route

  • tip7:get an electric car, with one you will never run out of gas.

  • Buy a european car instead of an american truck....

  • @Turbotrips cost a lot and american muscle is just as well.

  • ride a motorized bike 100+ mpg

  • tip... remove all fenders.. mirrors, a few lug nuts, bumpers, radios, back seats, and hood. will save much gas!

  • That's gonna look stupid. We need mirrors so can see behind us, we need lug nuts to hold the wheels, we need bumper to help protect the car in a wreck, we need radios to listen to music, sports weather or news, we need back seats so other people can sit, and we need a hood to keep the rain gettin' into the engline.

  • What about buying a good exhast system?

  • I live by chicago Im in Illinois waukegan and gas over here is lik 2.30 rite now!

  • the new chevy volt will top that lol 230 miles per gallon

  • tosser, however though you are right. geek

  • CA gas is 2.89

  • i remember when gas use to cost 1.25 and i'm 17

  • gas in chicago is 3.15 now and outside of the city it is like 2.76

  • in michigan it's 1.50!

  • lol its amazing how fast gas prices are continuing to rise. its alrady over 4 bucks, and in the UK its 6-7 dollars :/

  • LOL: 'Stop eating those potatoes chips Fatty' !!

  • How is a car that runs on water, recycleable? We only have so much water and it is getting worse every day. Granted the rain water would become cleaner if we were burning water in our cars. Every liquid product has its limitations as far as quantity goes.

  • It has been tested and busted, windows down vs. air conditioning on--there is no difference at all on fuel consumption.

  • i drive a Tl-s and dam , 19 mpeg , omg i need gas money lol z, right now in Houston tx its 3.30 per gallon. I got amps, Kicker sub wofer, intake, chip, header, open header...

  • i live in houston but gas is not 3.30 anymore i think its like what 3.19? now lol

  • lol my car with all the mods is now the mpeg down to 14 or 15 mpeg lolx , so sad huh

  • yeah that suckz i get about 20 to 25 in the city and 35 on the free way and i drive a ford ranger 5 speed i bet thats why my MPG is so good lol

  • dude...you should like install a massive air intake system on the front of the engine. there would be a greater amount of air in the fuel/air ratio, make the engine burn less fuel and improves performance. i used to drive 30 to 40 miles in a day and i used to fill up every week or every other week. the less restriction there is on the engines intake, the better the gass milage will be, and the faster the car will run

  • It now costs $10 to go 100 miles in my fuel-sipping Geo Metro, so now I'm upgrading to a bicycle. No insurance and no gas required :)

  • @landongendur lucky you hahaha my park avenue which is weighs about 4 geo metros gobles that $10 in 35 miles

  • Ride a motorcycle !!! 60 MPG gotta love it :P

  • i can remember when gas was 0.80c per ltr! that was 10 years ago! (in New Zealand.well i am from New Zealand!)

  • The tips are just shit, almost none of them are true.

  • XD LOL! You got that right! I drive a friggin' Ford F-250 with a 6.8 liter V10! And every time I step on the gas pedal just a smidgen, that's about 1/4 of a gallon of gas gone from the pit of my wallet!

Oh wait... Damn. I gotta go to the BP station now. It's on E again. Well, there goes another $95.00 down the exhuast pipe. }:[

  • i am bob

  • These suggestions are so ridiculous.

Hey guys you know those mirrors where the airbag warning is? Those weight a whooping five pounds, this increases the weight of your car, also they hang from the top of the car, which over time will actually drag the roof of the car down which ruins the aerodynamics. Better remove those.

Oh and also remove all the seats of your car. This guy who suggested the list probably owns the car from "Death Proof" in Grindhouse.

  • Also, don't use the ACC.

  • I gotta say, 4cyl N/A engines are the most fuel efficient.

American V8's are NOT good, and it's just stupid to put a V8 in a normal towncar. They deliver the same BHP and the torque is higher but it's unnecessary.

  • @TGseason10 the only way a 4cyl can match the power of a v8 is to turbo the thing and higher rpms, this creates engine noise, those big town cars have large v8 because they max out at lower rpms creating a smooth ride.

  • or you could get rid of it and get something with a 4 cyl and accelerate as much as you want and still get 30mpg or better. :)

  • uh yeah, you're not a nerd.

  • "Stop eating your potato chips FATTY"!!! that was really funny!!!

  • WHERE'S MY EV1

  • btw, dont forget AIR FILTER... K&N Recommend (y)

  • sf born and raised. 10 years ago, gas was like 1.50 now its 4. so ridiculous! time to go to war with another country.

  • tip #1-resurrect Stanley Meyer

#2-quit your job 20 minutes from home and make a million dollars at home working in your pajamas.

    #3-legalize hitchiking

Also, I saved over 100 gallons of gas last year and now I have no more room to store it.

  • the only thing hybrids are going to do is give us millions of toxic batteries in 20 years when they all go dead

  • thats kinda of true and kinda of not when the batteries go dead they just reuse them and make them brand new again so thats not compleaty true

  • i'm not talking about dead as in lose all their charge (in which case just you know, recharge them)

i'm talking fully dead, no recharges left

either way, hybrids don't even solve the problem. they're just a temporary solution

temporary solutions never work, and they're what caused hitler to rise to power (from countries just abandoning germany after WWI... hmm sounds like something a lot of people are asking for can't put my meat on it

  • fuel cells are batteries that use hydrogen instead of battery acid and when mixed with air turn to water. I know thats not what your talking about but thats the way the world will be going is hydrogen, not hybrids really.

  • Thanks for those tips! I hope I can save some money on gas. Keep those videos coming! :)

  • Here's two more tips. 1. Car Pool: If you and you friends are going to place take the same car (I suggest who ever has the car with the best gas millage) split the gas bill

    2. Fill you tires once a week: Fill ing you tires once a week increasing gall millage and can save gams money at the pump.
