  • Sure looks like north van is doing good. I hate living in Texas USA, it sucks balls. Texas isn't doing so great

  • what an ass..

  • lindor truffels mmmmmmmmmm.

  • interesting to see an atempt to buy 100 maple leafs at scotia bank and the price comparison with apmex..I tried they were out.....at scotia bank..everytime..but that was ontario

  • Gas is £1.20 a litre her in Britain ftm.

  • you got ripped off mate ...get down the vbce...their prices are better

  • Nice vid. I like how you were able to buy silver at a currency exchange very cool.

  • A 5***** walkabout

  • WOW, banks are doing awesome, we should all invest in banks :-/

  • now you made me hungry.......lol.....tkx for the walk about....the folks in the silver place didn't know who they were talkin to.....:-)

heard there are measles going around in vancouver....be careful....

and ya know...if you keep cleaning that silver you won't have any of that tin foil hat left.........

  • Here is a very interesting article from SilverSeek (dot) com.

The name of the article is:

    Why Are Silver Sales Soaring?

" virtually all U.S. silver production is going toward the manufacturing of Silver Eagles."

Disregard the last paragraph though. I don't invest in any paper.

  • black market metal. will trade 2 oz. for a pair of boots at the farmers market, ect. great vid man.

  • @biologicalobserver

Hmmm, yeah. I traded silver Maples for some tomato plants the other day. I'll mention it in an upcoming vid. I love buying and selling in silver. Feels so real.

  • Lol Drutter, you're mean. Screwing with the currency converters there! HA HA!

    Fiat is currency.

    Gold and Silver is Money.

It's amazing to note what the general attitude is with the public concerning the difference.

Fantastic vid mate, thank you very much for sharing!

  • You're lucky that you don't pay any tax on silver. We pay 17.5% in UK which is really annoying. Gold is tax free though.

It's not stopped me buying silver coins from Guernsey which gets through to me tax free.

  • You should have tried Scotiabank, they say they sell gold and silver on their website and I have seen APMEX have their Scotiabank gold for sale awhile back. On another note can you do a Vancouver downtown video, like where Capitol6 theater is, its been 20+ years since I was in Vancouver :(

  • You drive Scotia Bank! You should have asked where the gold is :)

  • @silverfuturist The gold is in China and India lol

  • Nice tour. I recently spent €30

for a frosted unc. 2009 Kangaroo

    on a whim, lol.

  • drutter, I like when you do these types of videos, To bad for Demcad though!

P.S., Thanks for getting me addicted to silver porn, I brought some home and gave it to my wife, Now She likes it when I give it to her that way...............

  • @TheDogDew

The ladies can be worse silver porn addicts than us even! I guess you've found that out. Have fun :p

  • $24 for that crap bar is a total rippoff. (but I know you were just making a point for the vid) For that price you should be able to get a "recognized" bar such as Engelhard, Johnson Mathay, Scotiabank...etc. For a unrecognized bar they are under $20 today at J&M. Go to their location on Broadway...TONS of silver and gold coins there..but some of them are snobby. The Asian guy Edgar is nice though. VBCE is kind of like a bank, but decent prices.

  • That's just plastic. Good chocolate, though. ROFL!

  • Poof! Clean! Like magic. Nice video. :-)

    .

Drutter, wish you had asked her if she would BUY silver from you. What do you think the answer would have been?

  • Great video as usual. Please keep up all your hard work in keeping the world informed. Best.

  • LOL nice

  • A pub- don't see too many of those in S. Calif. It's usually sleazy bars, or "yuppy" watering holes.

  • Canada is doing a great deal better economically than the U.S. right? It's my understanding that Canada has a much more sound banking system than the U.S. I wonder how much longe rthat will last if the U.S. goes over the edge & collapses?

  • Kinda long without much too say. In 11:00 minute videos you need urgency and drama in the reporting, this had neither. Check out George4title videos for help.

  • @itillbeme

looooool thanks for the tip :D

  • @drutter

    REAllY! LOL!

  • @itillbeme lol!!!

  • @itillbeme - oh, please. LOL. G4T is the Alex Jones of the YouTube financial crowd.

    .

Drutter - please don't listen to him. I enjoy your videos for grown-ups. :-)

  • "Would Malcom X call Obama a house negro??"

Even the graffiti artists in Canada have manners...."...a house negro??" ?

    Thanks for the video.

  • hey, does your brother have the same passion for silver that you do? ive tried to show my brother the silver path but he wont walk it.

  • @pkimrey

I gave him a Maple a few weeks ago, and yeah, he's been watching some vids. He's not really money-minded, but he seems to be grasping the basics.

  • No tax on silver... Wonder if, when Barry Zero presents us in the US with a national VAT, will PMs be taxed, here?

I can buy Maples for less than that here in the US! That's just wrong!

Kyoot fakeout with the Lindor Lindt chocolate wrapper. =^[.]^=

I see a LOT of familiar old places closing or closed, lately.

  • VBCE or J & M Coin and Jewellery (jandm . com), with J&M with a better selection, are the best places in the Lower Mainland to buy gold and silver. As cheap as anything I've found.

  • PS..I just bought another 115 ounces of Maple leafs from, shit for service but good for pricing, Kitco,I realize we may have a little pull back soon but does darn Maple leafs are so hard to come by at a good price these days, but as soon as our dollar surpasses the USD,I'm switching to APMEX for a better deal as their shipping charges are by far the cheapest in the industry apart from Qualitysilver bullion, the owner Jim often offers FREE Shipping inside the USA but not to Canada, that's too bad!

  • 1:42 LOL

  • Hey Bro that guy from "VCBE" was lying to YOU,they have a website and I've even called them once and negotiated a price for silver,he told that if I bought more than 50 ounces at a time that he would drop the price by 0.30 per bar.check out their website and call them up yourself, they told me that they had three different locations to buy and I'm looking and their website right now and they're are still selling bars and coins in gold or silver.

  • @connectingdots1

Oops, sorry, I wasn't clear. The business I went into was called Royal Currency Exchange (the yellow awning). He doesn't deal in silver, but he gave me the business card for someone who does (VCBE).

I've never dealt with them. Were you able to get a decent price there? Maybe I should look into them.

  • @drutter I think you should buy all your silver there!!...if it wasn't for the fact that I had to take a darn Ferry back and forth of this Island,I'd be buying from them all the time!

his prices often beat all the big boys because he's slow at rising the price, the only thing I didn't like is the fact that all his Maple leafs are circulated and I'm in the business of selling silver and people don't want used as much as brand new, sorry but they still shop with their eyes and not their brains!

  • Fun video. I would like to fly my rocket ship to Canada.

  • @drutter... At 4:28 "Another big bank here" LOL ....Scotiabank, in addition to being big, also appears to have involvement in a huge silver scam according to Zero Hedge and King World News....

  • I wonder why the invoice was for "foreign sales"?

Toronto looks a bit like any large town in England, a little grey and overcast with a large amount of drab coloured cars. I personaly loved that guy with the flag on his wheelchair.

I think you were 'had' slightly bit on that art bar, tbh. I have a set of steam train art bars. They're stirling silver, which is 92.5% (I think). So yeah, that bar should've been more like $18-19.

  • and thanks for the shout out! =)

  • That woman is smarter than Buffet! =)

  • What did that last comment about the chocolate plastic mean???

    Huh?

  • @Winst0nOBoogie

It was just a joke. Silver seems to be getting used in almost everything these days... except chocolate wrappers. :)

  • @drutter

Ya know, someone could create new demand by selling silver foil wrappers intended to keep food fresher... Wanna start a business? =^[.]^=

  • Thanks for the walk :) Glad you didn't try to grab my hand

  • Bank of Nova Scotia was found to not have the silver/gold to back the paper certificates they issue.

  • "Silver is a metal you can buy with money"

Why hasnt anyone done a video with this startling revelation before?

    :)

    great vid

  • 5 star chocolate joke.

  • pretty neat trick de-tarnishing that bar

  • Yeah, it's definitely not southern California.

  • I got 13 oz of silver today for $280 from a dealer with assorted different bullion coins. My first three bars I got. I had 0 silver bars coming into today. Yes I could have got it cheaper, but there was some nice coins and its not really buying stuff... Its more of a currency exchange.

  • @endlessmountain

Well not bad for physical in-your-hands silver, Derek. You'll probably look back on that purchase in a couple years saying "that was one of the best currency exchanges I've ever made". :)

  • @endlessmountain Keep getting that silver :-)

  • sorry wut! haha

  • firts LMAO
