We just went to the beach the day before yesterday and the water here was very clear, I thought beaches on the other countries are much better than here in the Philipines. When i watched this video and saw all of your comments, I conclude that I am very grateful to live here in the Philippines. Verrry Proud to say that I am a FILIPINA. =)

:-) Yes, one of the clearest in the world. Sigh. :-) I'm from the Philippines, and one of my fave personal memories is paddling my own little kayak in Palawan island, over 50 ft. of aquamarine water so brilliant in the sun that it hurt my eyes. So I looked up instead at the black limestone cliff islands around me. There was jungle growth even on the sharp rocks, and I saw this blue-green bird with an oversized orange beak perched on a branch, looking down at me and the water. :-)

this is great, christine. next time you're in cebu, take a trip to malapascua island, stay a few days, do some island hopping. The area is less commercially developed compared to shangrila mactan and presumably, more pristine.
