@flyingfrree30 The new testament is mostly fictional but was apparently written with good intentions. It was common in those days to write allegorical stories. I don't think the writers intention was that we believe that such things actually took place, just like the adam and eve myth, copied from the babylonians. I am just trying to save a few people from ignorance. I don't think you are really living if you are blinded from reality. Who wrote the four gospels anyway ? Nobody knows.
@Zephirot93 Matthew, Mark. Luke and John were just titles given to the writings. I used to think that they were disciples, as I imagine many christians would assume. They were written by educated Greeks decades after the time of Jesus, and after Pauls letters. And there were several gospels that didn't make the cut such as the gospel of Thomas. There appears to be a connection with meaning of these names and Egyptian mythology.

It says that disobedient children should be stoned to death, and in some cases victims of rape. It is a big leap from deism to theism to which you believe in a god who cares about your daily behaviour such as who you sleep with and in what way.

Thats exactly what i mean, you are going to get His acknowledge and gifts, and then you are going to be tested. If you are going to a hard period, do like Job and pray to him, not curse, because if you put your whole faith in Him, if you give your life to Him, and if you truly believe, he will get you out of any evil doing that is going on around you, after you are tested.

He then said to God, i am going to kill this woman, and God said don't kill anyone, just pray. And its the same thing with God. God says do not worship other gods than Me.

Jesus talks about something along those lines. in short just because some is suffering or died tragically doesn't make them any different from any of us. they didn't sin any more worse then we have. and some times just because you see someone go through a hard time doesn't mean god is punishing them. he could be testing there faith in him. also remember life is not suppose to be easy. Read Genesis 3:16-24. in short life isn't going to be easy

@flyingfrree30 The new testament is mostly fictional but was apparently written with good intentions. It was common in those days to write allegorical stories. I don't think the writers intention was that we believe that such things actually took place, just like the adam and eve myth, copied from the babylonians. I am just trying to save a few people from ignorance. I don't think you are really living if you are blinded from reality. Who wrote the four gospels anyway ? Nobody knows.

@Zephirot93 Matthew, Mark. Luke and John were just titles given to the writings. I used to think that they were disciples, as I imagine many christians would assume. They were written by educated Greeks decades after the time of Jesus, and after Pauls letters. And there were several gospels that didn't make the cut such as the gospel of Thomas. There appears to be a connection with meaning of these names and Egyptian mythology.

Because thats how you get His wisdom, by reading His word. He didnt intervine in the holocaust because there are many different things that need to happen which were written in the Bible. You could ask, why did Jesus die anyway? Who would wanna die? But De died for our sins, and He died because thats what God wanted.

It says that disobedient children should be stoned to death, and in some cases victims of rape. It is a big leap from deism to theism to which you believe in a god who cares about your daily behaviour such as who you sleep with and in what way.

I just found this song. it is not on any cd, I am a worship leader and I was lead to want to worship him and seek Gods face even more. The words and the video are so special. I want more of God and less of me. Having a personal relationship with God is all I want and I pray for all who dont know him give him a try.
