I agree with you 100% about the trees. They are my friends and family, too. They understand my thoughts and spirit, and each day I understand more and more of theirs. I have a favorite tree, an oak, which I meditate underneath a few times a week. She is like a mother to me, and whenever I meditate under her branches, I become an extension of the Earth. I worship the Great goddess, who is everything in nature. The ancient goddesses of our ancestors are aspects of her.
