  • Theyy have such a great sound.

  • Holy tom angles batman!

  • these should come with custom bags as standard.

  • that looks like the drummer from Killswitch Engage

  • Comment removed

  • Is that Ryan Parrish?

  • fucking sick pete keep it up man!!

  • For anyone wondering how they sound I will tell you since I was there. They sounds just like they look. Terrible.

  • @BobTheGreatX really?? damn....

  • What material they use?

    FUCKIN SICK SOUND!

  • @Fuck1nMetal I played them when I was there and they sound horrible in person lol. Just lettin you know

  • Seems like these drums would be extremely difficult to get set up in a low playing position with such a large fish bowl attached to the bottoms. The fact that they don't make a snare like this seems to suggest that the drums probably don't have much tone (acrylic wouldn't anyway). Maybe they would sound good with some chemicals bubbling over a bunson burner?

  • these sound like pure ass. hes just tapping the cymbals and their a million times louder than the drums. the drums have no volume, resonance or tone for that matter. plus they look like some retarded space suit.

  • @cheesegrinder79 There are several things wrong with your argument. First, the relative volume levels are more than likely intensified by the recording device, which is clearly not set up to record drums well. Second, the apparent effort made by the drummer has no bearing on how hard he is hitting the cymbals. With good technique, you can hit very hard without showing much effort. The third error goes back to the recording device. You have no idea how they sound with this vid

  • Those actually sound really good haha

  • Pete Rock ROCKS!! We hung out at NAMM. Great dude, great drummer!

  • he could cook and sell meth on tour

  • hmmm lol i cant make heads or tails bc i go by is it something i would use or bring to a gig? i dont know until i try them but they are an eye catcher.

  • Ryan Dunn is alive.

  • i don't know, where is steven adler?

  • those thing sounds good

  • Im both surprised and impressed with how good they actually sound.

  • bubble drum.really. :)

  • I thought those were tits as toms at first.

  • Yeah, some 'random' drummer. That guy is fricking ridiculous. Fastest feet ive ever seen.

  • @ladrums1000

......... You obviously have not seen George Kollias.. O.O

  • @frogbeergolfgolf You weren't kidding :). Thanks for the heads up.

  • @ladrums1000

    George Doesn't mess around haha.

  • I have the same batman shirt. LOL.

  • That's not just any random drummer! That's my little bro Pete Rock from After the Burning! Watch the negative bullshit on here folks & lets try to keep it nice. Make sure to share this video & check out the bands FB page.

  • wicked cool

  • nice groove!... wait

  • This guy is obviously great, but fuck, man, you can only do so many 4 over 2 fills before it starts getting a little dull.

  • @aphat SERIOUS!

  • @superchanneljim .....Yes.....he's exactly right!......Every kid walking into G.C. w/two years of playing experience does this stuff!!.............IMO, if ur at NAMM........of all places, and you sit down to play..............play something thats going to grab someones attention cause of the groove or the feel.......not from the speed or volume!!

  • @superchanneljim .......and yes, Thekitchenfreak is correct......NAMM is not about this guy......It's about New Products.....HEARING them clearly......not a blur of notes.........I don't care how good he is, and this would be good at the right time and place....This is NAMM.....and this is all he's got????....he should be embarrassed by that display!......We ALL can do that stuff......but here, I would have never sat down to do that.....I would have just kept walking.

  • @mikeybbdrummin Upload your rendition of what he did then since everyone can do it... Would you have been more impressed if he jumped on the kit and started playing Blink182 covers? Its only a "blur" of notes if your brain isnt strong enough to know whats going on, and to truly test how something sounds you have to experiment using it with different styles. You are obviously a very talented and most of all well rounded musician.....

  • @falconer6439 ..dont get your panties in a wad...I know whats going on.......its alot of hand and foot combinations..w/a few other small attributes....yes, who doesnt do them these days??..I didnt say its's bad...it might be cool at G.C....just not NAMM..."and to truly test how something sounds"....really?.....then I woud prefer funk, latin, swing....anything that has space, breathes and lets me hear the drums individual pieces...what NAMM is for....not this guys d.b. tecnique!...not interested.

  • @mikeybbdrummin Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it sucks, one must respect all forms of music. I think this guy is badass, your opinion has nothing to do with someones skill level, how do you know that right after this short clip this dude didn't bust out some "funk" beats that would make your pussy wet and quiver. You're obviously a woman, on her period, that's into journey and sucking penis.

  • @TJFwhimi ....Never said the guy sucks.....I just thought it sounded way over the top and didnt do the drums justice..I would say the same thing if Bissonette, Morgenstein, S.Smith or S. Phillips (4 of my favorite drummers) just started banging away..difference is, they're pros that know what the purpose of NAMM is.....to showcase new products....not their own skills.... has nothing to do the styles of music I like....BUT....blast beats and speed for the sake of ego?? Rather watch water boil!

  • @mikeybbdrummin Shut up relax bro we are all just making sounds to live in this life. there are so many other things to have negative passion about. They're just drums that seem to be made for fun....(that "shut up" was a loving shut up)

  • @kristicrosswell ....haha...it wasn't negative.....it was observant...........AGAIN, just my oppinion.....just like urs could be that you love it!!............dont think he's a bad drummer..........but, it's not the Drum Off or his garage...........it's NAMM.

  • @mikeybbdrummin hahahahahaha as Jamaican's would say ,"A True ting dat mon!" But when he lick the drum like that it didn't bug me. I thought he was bashing away in a simple style to "expose" the drums per se'? cheers!

  • @mikeybbdrummin I am positive at some point during NAMM a drummer played that kit in those very styles. This video is 1:07 long, did you really expect something that "breathes"? You see how your position could be taken as inane?

  • @falconer6439 ..............I guess maybe if it was Lang, Minnemann, Donati, Mangini.....someone people wanted to see..............MAYBE it would be acceptable....but again, and of course IMO, it's over the top.....very G.C- esque......and is he playing to hear the drums and let other people REALLY hear the quality of the drums......or looking for attention.............I'm going w/the latter

  • @aphat ...............Oh so true!!

  • how do you put a port hole ?

  • After watching this, I still don't know how the drums sound. Calm down just a bit and let it BREATHE man, at least for one or two bars! How can I appreciate the resonance if no hit lasts more than a microsecond? Impressed by the amazing fluidity, highly annoyed by the lack of groove and nuances needed for a good introduction to a new lines of drums.

  • They sound pretty good for the shape.

  • Hippie get of those drums!

  • Looks like Ryan Parrish, the former Darkest Hour drummer

  • Comment removed

  • Now you can do chemistry and play drums at the same time!

  • damn...

  • I half suspect that the guy's drum set is inspired by Keith Moon's clear drum set with a fish inside.

  • This dude looks like Opie from Sons of Anarchy.

  • @comebosta12321

He is the drummer from After The Burning (Pete Rock)

  • @SufferTheWrath YEA BOY! PETE IS THE BOMB

  • Drum Carrying Cases ?

  • doesn't seem too practical when it comes to loading and unloading your gear, but they sure sound good.

  • Looks like he's hitting oversized lightbulbs.

  • @RythmicalParoxysm (WATT`s up?)

  • Looks silly, but sounds quite good, although the toms are tuned a bit too high for my taste.

  • I love this time of the year. Were sickdrummer rapes our subscription boxes with videos from NAMM. The REAL christmas! =]
