Hi, I would like to know why you are adding straws in the duct... what's the purpouse? I am working on a university project regarding low cost laminar flow cabinets, and would like to know a bit more about your device.

@paraddle my intention is to collimate the air flow so that, all else being equal, it travels further than other ducting arrangements.
