Sweet dig man !! nuthin like bottle mining, a little bit further and you could have laid some rails and got a ore cart rolling up in there LOL !! . I have the chance to dig the privy pits from a house built in the1780's should i expect to find some good bottles from that era or are real old bottles not as good as the ones from 1850's ? All of the bottle digging vids I watch all seem to show bottles from 1840 to 1900, did they not make many bottles in 1780's ?
