Well Rasheed Wallace and Rashard Lewis come to mind as black big men who are great 3 point shooters. Frye was never a great shooter until recently. Kevin Garnett used to shoot a few 3's in Minnesota. Lamar Odom is decent and Bosh is decent as well. Hell, even Chris Webber would hoist threes.

I know that's rather unusual, but haven't you noticed that WHITE big men can make 3's as opposed to black big men? Most of NBA's white PF-C's can make 3's. Nowitzki, Gasol, Miller, Ilgauskas, Bargnani etc... That's not a coincidence.

@MAGICsince89 they have tried that but gortat is not a dominant offensive player. his best qualities are his defensive abilities and he is a good pick and roll big man. but he will be the difference maker in the playoffs

He's the first Polish player to count in the NBA. I don't think he'll be a star but he's going to be solid. I remember some interviews with him way back where he mentioned he was like off the charts on all kinds of athletics tests they did on him during summer camp. He's really athletic for a seven footer.
