  • Its hard to have a relationship in fear

  • I am just curious, having aspergers syndrome, when did you first start talking as a child? My son is 3 1/2 and displays all the signs of autism or aspergers, not sure which one but we are in the process of getting him diagnosed, but he is 3 1/2 and still is not speaking. We thought maybe it was bc he hears a lot of English and Spanish and maybe it was confusing him. Also his grandfather didn't speak until he was 4. Any info would help, thank you.

  • @pmgore1982 I think I spoke a little before 3 1/2 years. But, speaking later in life even up to the age of six sometimes happens for someone on the autism spectrum. I actually heard a story one time of someone who had autism and didn't start speaking until their teens. But, speaking by the age of 4 is quite common as well.

  • I'm an adult with high functioning autism. I should go back to school too. I currently have 54 credits and I work with young autistic kids (easiest job ever!). A degree would get me more money. And benefits!

  • @yeahtoast22 Indeed! Very good idea.

  • Best wishes on your book. I'm an aspie writing my memoirs, as well. Like you, I hope to get it published. So much of what you say here is so very similar to my own life. I look forward to seeing more from you.

  • @Layerboyz I can't wait to read your memoir. Please keep me updated on it. :)

  • Thanks for using my video ;)

  • @Aspie37 You're welcome :)
