@numbahone Well, I don't know exactly what you need to do to date Tifa, but this is my first time playing the game and my date was with her. I wanted Aerith, though. xD But I didn't know about this so it took me by surprise the whole date thing.
@Shizusky lol, how did you not get aerith for the date, since you actually wanted to? it's hard not to get her as the date, even if you don't want her, since you'll have to always think of tifa first and leave aerith out of your party at certain times, etc...it's not that hard to get tifa either, you just have to forget about aerith. you can also date yuffie or barret, but for those two you must follow specific instructions and not make mistakes :P

You have to be nice to her. Each character has a hidden "affection value" that changes depending on how you treat them, and the one with the highest affection value is your date. Aeris' starting value is 50, Tifa's is 30, so Aeris is the default date. To date Tifa, basically just be an ass to Aeris whenever you can.

well, i thought that cloud and aerith has agreed upon a date for being her bodyguard. though ppl says that what's makes ffvii fun is that the players could make choices... but i think that only the storyline and the hidden characters matters. the story is pretty much fixed. and insistence of making some choices would only be ironic, cuz it would contradict the plot.
God....watching this all over again....makes me want to beat the entire game again, lol I got so sick of getting knights of the round, everytime I get to the third disc I just start a new game, because all my games are good enough to beat Sephiroths punk ass anyways lol

I just thought that with tifa's character, things would get MUCH faster if her love is Vincent instead. where did i get the idea of vinny and tifa? well, i just thought that they match. i mean, come on, they look compatible, dont they. and about clerith, people always have different opinions, no point arguing. it just like i dont understand at all why they want to pair Aerith and her murderer up. god.

The reason why you don't see them confessing anything is because Tifa was never supposed to be in final fantasy 7, She was a last minute addition.

well they actually base it on who you like better and actually clerith is an option if you think about it, you have to make a choice if you want to like her or not. i perfer tifa. but think about it there wasnt any real backbone to the cleris side, but for cloti, you can replace the senses where they confess their feelings to each other on the rock and when she pieces back his memory together and yah. omg cloti forever! <3<3

well, i thought that cloud and aerith has agreed upon a date for being her bodyguard. though ppl says that what's makes ffvii fun is that the players could make choices... but i think that only the storyline and the hidden characters matters. the story is pretty much fixed. and insistence of making some choices would only be ironic, cuz it would contradict the plot.

I always thought Aeris and Cloud's date once it got to the Gondola ride was a litte racey lol. But I'm glad to see someone posted the date where Tifa was awarded the date over her. I've only seen this happen personally four or so times. That out of countless times I've played the game so this was a nice change of pace. Thanks fo much for sharing it.
