And of course it for some reason isn't on the Virtual Console.... Nintendo, what is wrong... I am throwing my money at the Wii and you just won't take it! (and yes I know I could DL it easy... I also still have my NES and the cart... but I would like to throw money at Jackal anyway!)

I keep coming back to listen to this. It's such an awesome nostalgia trip for me. When I was a little kid it was one of the first few games I had for my NES, I always wanted to play the game with my dad. Such good times.

...I should check for it on the Wii virtual console and force my roommate to play it with me. Love this game and it's music.

Since the NES Jackal repeats BGM pieces 1, 2 and 3 for stages 4, 5 and 6 respectively, I would think the Castlevania music selection here would be broader. What do you think?

wow, now this is some old school classic ish right here. like i was playing this in the arcades in kenya around 1989-1990 i believe. easily you can see why it was just sooo easy to get hooked on gaming as a kid back then, with the golden era of gaming being ushered in and literally being in the presence of legendary titles everywhere you look.

Man, I LOVED Jackal! I remember when my cousing got this game, we spent hours playing it. Games were so much fun when 2 could play at the same time.

Jackal, Contra, Double Dragon II, and the 2 Zeldas were the games that defined my early life. all had amazing music and to this day, i am 21 now, I still think about these games and how amazing they were in every way. They should remake Jackal for 360 or ps3 or something.
