Their is a reason they are the Best in The World.. The UDTs in the 50s are what I look up to, those were MEN that were the best and the toughest, and the development of the SEALS in the 60s just put a name to the group of men who have enough heart and metal toughness to never give up, in any thing they do in life.. SEALs are amazing, I cant wait until I am with them in Coronado, freezing my ass off in the surf, havent rested one minute all day.. I will remember, the only easy day was yesterday.

Alot of people have hopes of becoming alot of things in the military, yet most do not find out the real them until they are put to the test. I myself have seen so many say with their mouths they are going to do this or they are going to do that. But only a few actually made it.
Nobody can say they are a "Navy SEAL" Until they officially make it through hell and back with all the things that is needed to go through. I personally qualified to do SAR with the Navy, training with guys who too wanted to be Navy SEALS and was training with the Navy Seal Coordinator. You may say you want something now, but once you really get out there... Actions will mean more than words.

You say that being a SEAL is your future job LOL Yes I am laughing in your face. BUDS has an 80-85% failure rate according to those statistics you most likely will not be a SEAL. @JayPull85 Hey, you know a lot, I assume you want to be a SEAL? I won't say you are, because SEALs don't look at statistics. Sure, only 15-20% pass, but that doesn't stop the ones that do. And if everyone had the same mentality as the ones who do pass, we'd get a lot of SEALs and our pass rate would be different. Stats aren't facts, just trends. You wanna be a SEAL? If that's your attitude, your chances are even less. I want to be a SEAL, therefore, no one and nothing will stop me. End of that.

Statistics are facts. They're taken from data which is facts. And they're things that you can't control that will stop you. Such as serious training injuries that require orthopedic surgery or pneumonia during Hell Week.

@JayPull85 okay, the drop out rate is so high not because of injury or illness but drop on request...hence DOR. they're allowed one medical or injury rollback into another class if it's real and severe. Our pass rate as in America's, not SEALs. So yeah our pass rate, and I don't have to change stats or facts. The drop out rate is high because people DOR. They quit. That's something others do mentally. And if SEALs could find people who had there drive, then the DOR would be much fewer.

Illness and injury is pardoned as a rollback once.Most leave during hell week not due to injury but lack of motivation. Any SEAL recruiter or SEAL I've heard speak has said sure you have to be tough to be a SEAL, but kids come in there barely passing and so do Olympians.The weak ones pass and grow strong because they want to be there and sometimes the tough guys wash out and they don't.

@JayPull85 i am part of an organization who help disabled war vets and met 15 former navy members who tried the seals and they failed...2 of them actually pushed themselves to the point of passing out. and one of them actually was permenently psycologicaly messed up. it depends on your body and mind..so dont go talking about statistics and bullshit books. your probaby one of the guys who doesnt have the guts to try the seals...i give them respect but i do not supports any U.S military actions

The SEALs don't declare war on anyone, our congress only has that power. The terrorists may not be a real army, but they have been been targeted by the free world as a threat to freedom. The SEALs are one of those units assigned to eliminating that threat. If the U.S. declared war on China, Russia, and Iran, the SEALs would answer that call too.

Their is a reason they are the Best in The World.. The UDTs in the 50s are what I look up to, those were MEN that were the best and the toughest, and the development of the SEALS in the 60s just put a name to the group of men who have enough heart and metal toughness to never give up, in any thing they do in life.. SEALs are amazing, I cant wait until I am with them in Coronado, freezing my ass off in the surf, havent rested one minute all day.. I will remember, the only easy day was yesterday.

Alot of people have hopes of becoming alot of things in the military, yet most do not find out the real them until they are put to the test. I myself have seen so many say with their mouths they are going to do this or they are going to do that. But only a few actually made it.

Nobody can say they are a "Navy SEAL" Until they officially make it through hell and back with all the things that is needed to go through. I personally qualified to do SAR with the Navy, training with guys who too wanted to be Navy SEALS and was training with the Navy Seal Coordinator. You may say you want something now, but once you really get out there... Actions will mean more than words.
