This years rockstar mayhem was lame. Just Megadeth, Godsmak, and Disturbed. Don't get me wrong, these are great bands, but none of them really stood out. (Godsmacks drum solo was fucking epic though)

you will notice that whenever they really play clean that they are always sitting down. playing guitar while sitting and standing up are 2 very different things. it is much harder to play standing up if you're a bedroom guitarist like you and i. you aren't really a noob if you can't play very well standing up, you're a noob if you're this bad at playing standing up and still try and play a live performance. i like dragonforce, but they just aren't that clean, even now.

@getitstartedful WTF you guys don't know enough about DF. They have *2* guitarists (excluding bass), both of which play Rhythm and Lead. On the records there are 4 lead guitar tracks for both guitarists and a harmony, and 2 Rhythm parts, also one for each guitarist.

However, since they only have 2 guitarists they can only have 2 guitar tracks live. This means that during solos there's no rhythm part unless one guitarist does it while the other solos. And WTF with the 'next lead guitarist' thing.

Apparently some people do not understand that this is a smal part of a concert. This is not the Entire performance. The quality is bad and you can almost not hear him play. You don't go to a concert to hear the exact same thing as on the albums either. I have seen a lot of high quality movies where they play flawlessly and sound great. Whether you think what they play is shit or not is a matter of opinion. Herman knows what he is doing and so do Sam. They are doing what they love.
