install Cydia, let it respring, open Cydia up, let it organize Cydia, open BlackRa1n and then install blacksn0w. It works!!!!

Try downloading ultrasn0w from cydia. That worked for me.

OK i had this problem its actually easy to fix. What you wanna do is take the sim out, go to settings>General>reset then select erase all content and settings, then after u do that hook up your iphone to a pc then run itunes and set up as new iphone you get 5 chances or some crap after that run black ra1n and the sim unlock and it should work great.

Yup, exact same problem.

Also on O2 UK, same firmware, same baseband, exact same process and error.

Its March 2010 lready and still no fix to this...or at least none that i heard of.

I have used the latest version of blackra1n: RC3

Hope someone will find a solution...soon...

Exact same thing happened to me. i have been easily jailbreaking and unlocking the phone only to find in the end it won't recognize my tmobile sim card. Any thoughts?

When I try to do install on my 2g touch it gets stuck on a black screen when it says done so I restore it manually by pressing power and home

this happened to me when i did it but i had to reset my phone and jailbreak 4 /5 times to get it to work. also i put in my simcard as soon as i clicked insatll for snow so the sim was in when it was installing snow :)

Hi,

An update for JB iPhones with 3.12 update. To solve the WiFi issue, please remove "WinterBoard" that you got from Cydia and you will see your Wifi networks again!. I tried it and it is back again!

I've not unlocked my iPhone, but have Jailbroken it.

I have some WiFi issues as well. I noticed that I have to turn the WiFi off and on in order to get it to work again (sometimes).

I have reseted all settings, and reseted the net settings multiple times.

I haven't tried removing Winterboard.. but I rather have faulty WiFi than remove Winterboard ;)

i have a solution, but not a good one. you can put in the s-card your want on the iphone, than jailbreak,it can make call and to internet, but can not cannct youtube. if you connect the itunes, you have to restore it again!

My problem is Wifi. after the blackrain, my iPhone acts crazy. I cannot see my move wifi network, reset the network setting, then I can see it. I turned-off the Wifi, turned it on, still no Wifi network detected!. Is Something wrong with the black rain or BlckSn0w?

I Blackra1n'ed with Windows.. so I don't think that's the issue :S.

I have literally tried everything I have read and everything I can think of, but it is still not working. Perhaps it has something to do with an o2 branded iPhone? I doubt it.. but.. maybe?

It's still a no-go for me.. unfortunately.
