Service Pack 2 bu i ahve the problem in many many programs i think it,s the dll i don,t have a spaacial dll maybe i wiull watch with spacial prgram forgot the name...

i have the GTX 260 so I dont think its my video card

this is bullshit .. i got same problem.. open prototype ... black screen for 7-10 secs.. then it closes by it self.. and i got a GF9600 1GB -.- i bet its not my card

Specs : Windows XP Professional SP3,

Intel Pentium D Processor with 2G ram,

ATI Radeon X600 with 256Mb.

i can play crysis pretty fast at low graphics tho :/

Msg me if you know what the problem is! (i think its video card)

ok i updated my video card drivers:

now i get grey screen for 3-5 secs, then black screen, then the screen starts flickering for 4-7 secs, then i get black screen again, and i get sound.... but NO VIDEO! D:< i want to play prototype!!!!!!!!!1!

You need a new computer,

2 gigs of ram is fine, Graphics card is O.K., Pentium D is bad, and Windows XP Is fine.

I would recommend updating your cpu (Pentium D) and graphics card. Make it at least 512mb/1gig

it's your video card.

you need to update it, and your driver, if that does not work, then you need a bether video card.

-it's the same thing if you run assassins creed..

with dvx9 or dvx10.

IT is due to your graphics card i asked activision and they said also i lent it to a friend and it worked fine they have vista too.
