Hi Carolyn, I paid a visit to here today. Just went for a drive out that way on impulse. It was very chilly. Wasn't many campers. Lots of places to camp. Now that I know what to expect I might use it as an overnight stopover the next time I'm heading out that way.
Glad you liked it, its ideal if your heading back to Sydney and just feel like you have driven enough to pull in and enjoy the quiet, well when the birds quieten down. I can imagine you there playing your music :)
Yes, its such an insignificant signpost. We laughed as we drove past on the way back from Nyngan. Now we know about it, its so much more obvious.
Wood was supplied and only one person was there exercising their dog and left quickly. Have since heard of someone else going there and finding about 50 vans :)
The birds were great and as I won a new mobile in FaceBook and can record on the spot I will do this from time to time possibly with music added as well.
Love the maggie song audio. They can play that at my funeral I reckon.
I didn't know about this place. A good place to camp by the looks of it. BYO wood I'm guessing. You know, I generally solve that annoying 'Where to Camp for Free' issue by slipping into state forest and finding an out of the way spot to set up camp for the night. Works for me almost 100% of the time I'm traveling in the bush.
I love the waterfall here :) so pretty after it rains!

My favorite camping spot! Dog-friendly, clean, lots of space and perfect at night for astronomy.
