@webcam224 : because you cannot film the entire person and spot with a regular lens in narrow places, because it is the the only way to make a good looking traveling... when you like skateboarding you can understand that, if you want to reflect more on this, look more "real" videos, you'll see that there is often a double shot of a same trick : one close up with a fish eye, one with a regular lens at a further distance to keep proportions correct...
